    "Hey you guys ready? I nod and we make our way to the cemetery, flowers in our arms. "Man can't believe he's been gone for this long." we finish the wall in silence, memories flashing through our minds.

"Luke! Give it back!" He continues running down the hallway, my phone in his hand. "Come on char, what could you possibly have on th- wait you like me?" He puts the phone in his pocket and walks towards me. "char..." I stay put, too nervous to move. "I like you too." He kisses me, the nervousness going away.

That was the day we started dating, it didn't last long. We had to stay apart for the sake of our friendship, we loved each other too much to keep dating. "guys we're here." we walk to the grave, setting the flowers down one by one.

    "happy birthday bubs. we love you lukey." we sit on the ground and set up the picnic. "pass the watermelon please." I pass the watermelon over to andi. I lay down on the blanket and stare up at the sky. "he's watching us. he's always with us." I feel James lay next to me.

"yeah. I'm glad you're here char. we figured you weren't coming."  that makes me sit up. "wait why? I've been coming since he passed." James also sits up, andi lays on the ground still. "honestly with everything going on with you I figured you wouldn't come."

After an hour of laying here andi and James left. I wanted to stay for a bit. "hey Luke. I'm sure you know what's going on but am I doing the right thing? zach hates me and here I am in love with him. I-I haven't felt this way since I was with you. I hated myself for moving on from you but zach is- he's great."

  "I shouldn't have left in the first place.  I just really miss you luke. You would know what to say. You would hold me and tell me everything is going to be all right and without you I don't think it will be. I guess I better get going. I love you Luke. Always have and always will. I think I'm going to talk to zach. I need to be with him, I'm so in love with him. thanks for listening Luke."

  I get up off the ground, a blue jay lands on his grave stone. A smile appears on my face, blue jays were his favorite bird. I pick up my stuff and walk back to andis house. "hey char. someone's here for you. they're in the guest room." I look at her confused but she just smiles at me. James is smirking at me as I make my way up the stairs.

  My hand on the handle of the door. Once I opened the door a look of shock covered my face. "no way."
