THIRTY-ONE

                              mine

                    -one year later-

char and christina were standing just outside the doors to the venue. both with a smile on their faces. the doors begin to open so christina loops arm with her dad and i loop arms with both jonah and james. both of the girls start walking down the aisle together. the bridesmaids already walked down.

  meanwhile zach and corbyn were standing up at the alter with their groomsmen: jack, daniel, ryan and jordan. once the door opens and the bridesmaids walked through both of the boys knew they were going to cry. then the music changes to speechless by dan and shay. the doors open once more and in walks char and christina. corbyn was the first to start crying then zach joined him.

   once everyone is in their spots and the dad's or "brothers" give away the bride's, its time for the wedding to fully begin. "time for vows. corbyn, christina do you want to start?" they nod and corbyn begins to speak, "christina since the day i met you i knew i wanted to be standing up here with you. you've made me a better person and i so thankful for you. i can't wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend."

  "corbs you've known that you wanted to marry me since the day we met but i was scared to admit i had feelings for you. when i did it was the best day of my life. I'm so happy that i met you corbyn matthew besson because youre my favorite person." josh herron, the one who is marrying the two couples since he took an online course.

"zach, char? you guys ready?" the two of them nod as they pull out their speeches. "charlotte its funny really, that we're standing here today because you hated me when we met. i made some mistakes but char i never stopped loving you. you're the best thing thats ever happened to me, you're my favorite person, best friend and of course my lobster. i love you and can't wait for you to become charlotte rose herron."

  tears were falling from chars eyes, she wiped her tears as she looked at down at her speech. "zach it took me forever to write this speech because i wanted it to be perfect but zach we aren't perfect and i should've just spoken from my heart so here's me speaking from my heart. we've had our ups and downs but obvisouly the universe wanted us together because now we're standing here, together. i am so happy to spend the rest of my life with you. i will always love you."

   the wedding carries on and finally it was time for them to truly become married. "charlotte rose jones do you promise to always care for zachary dean herron, in sickness and health?" zach holds her hands, both with tears and smiles on their faces. "i do." then it was zachs turn, "i do."

  "you may now kiss the bride." zach glances up at char before putting on hand on her cheek and leaning in, char connects their lips. "i love you." he whispers to her as they pull away. then josh turns to christina and char and the process repeats.

   the couples link arms and walk down the aisle before getting introduced back in. "everyone please put your hands together for corbyn and christina besson ans zach and char herron." they walk inside the venue and everyone claps. after eating the couples walk around to chat with people.

-chars pov-

     "zach lets go talk to your family." we walk over towards the herrons and i notice that my mom was sitting with them. "hello." my mom stands up and hugs me, "you looked beautiful honey." i smile at her as i tell her thank you. "you truly did darling." i thank myta and walk away from the table with zach to talk to more guests.

  "clo thank you for coming." she smiles at me and wraps and arm around zach and i. "thank you for inviting me and I'm still very sorry." after talking with her we move over to james, lukes and andis parents. "it was a beautiful ceremony girlie." we sit and talk with them and lukes mom thanks us for what we did, we have a table with pictures of family members that have passed with a sign that says, "we know you would be here if heaven wasn't so far away"  a picture of luke was of course on the table.

  we travel around before meeting up with christina and corbyn to cut our cakes. zach and i cut the cake at the same time chris and corb cut theirs. "will the brides be nice? will the grooms or will they be mean?" we each grab a piece of the slice, zach feeds me his piece and i go to feed him but instead i shove it in his face. i see both chris and corbs decided to be mean.

   "today was a great day. i love you." tomorrow all four of us are heading to hawaii for our honeymoon. we head home once everyone leaves and after pictures of course. once we're home zach and i sit outside for a while, just talking about random things.

  "hey ready to go to bed?" i nod and he holds out his hand to help me up.

     "zach?"

    "yeah?"

    "i love you."

    "char?"

    "yeah?"

     "i love you."
