          He was standing there, neither of us saying anything. "y-you're here? why?"

"because I love you and I can't not be with you. The whole thing was stupid. Seeing you with him made me crazy." I walk closer to him, I can hear my heart beating. I can hear his heart beating. those were the only sounds in the room.

"I- I need to think." he nods as I leave the room. this is too much to process, I feel like my hearts going to explode. He can't love me, not after everything. "char you good?" James. "why didn't you tell me that's who it was. you should've given me time to prepare."

  "I'm sorry char, he said he has something urgent to tell you." yeah that was pretty urgent. pretty big and pretty scary. "I just need some time to think. I'm going for a walk. Keep him company I guess." I leave the house and start my walk.

  I walk towards my old house, memories flooding back. zach coming to see me. Jack coming to see me. andi, Luke, James and I having our sleepover before senior year started. me and my mom having spa days. The family who bought our house were sitting outside, eating food and laughing. I walk past the house and towards the park.

  This is where I broke my arm, James was teaching me how to skateboard. Let's just say it didn't do that well. I walk past our school and towards lukes' moms house, his parents spilt when Luke was about thirteen. It was really hard on him, we cheered him up by getting ice cream and going to an amusement park.

    we didn't spend much time at lukes, we almost always went to mine or James. "I think I'm ready to go back." I'm going to have to face him at somepoint, it's better to do it sooner then later. I made my way back to andis, my breathing quickening.

  I smile at andi as I walk up the stairs towards the guest room. I knock on the door and James walks out. "good luck." I go inside and sit next to him. "I'm really sorry jack. I just-"

  "don't worry. I know you love zach but I couldn't live with myself if I never told you how I feel." He gives me a hug then starts to exit the room. "I should go home now. It was great seeing you. Zach just needs time. He loves you too, we all know." He leaves the room without another word.
