Renjun held Chenles hand, leading him to the park.

"Where are we going Renjun? It's cold!" Renjun took off his jacket and wrapped it around Chenle.

Chenles ears were red but not as red as his eyes. They were bloodshot. Renjun was going to sneak out but he didn't feel Chenle next to him.

When he got up to go and look for him, he found him sitting outside of their parents door, crying. They were arguing again.

Renjun couldn't leave him, he had to take him.

So that's why he wrapped his jacket around Chenle, despite Chenle being taller and bigger than him, and lead him towards his escape place.

Once they reached the swings, he sat down and gestured for Chenle to sit on the swing next to his.

"I'm sorry for leaving you Lele, I promise that I will take you here whenever you want." Chenle just sniffed and gripped the jacket tighter.

"Thanks." Renjun sent him a small smile. The two were quiet until they heard small footsteps. Chenle looked up to see a brown haired boy. He held onto Renjuns hand, slowly standing up.

Once the boy reached them, he glared at Jaemin.

"Who are you?" Jaemin rolled his eyes and glared back.

"No, who are you?"

"I asked first."

"I didn't ask."

"I didn't sign up for this shit. Chenle that's Jaemin, Jaemin that's Chenle. Chenle, Jaemin is my friend that I have been talking to when I leave early. Jaemin, Chenle is my brother." Jaemin nodded and waved shyly.

"I'm really sorry about that, let's just pretend to meet again. Hi, I'm Jaemin." He smiled at Chenle and held his hand out while Chenle giggled softly and grabbed it.

"I'm Chenle." Jaemin nodded and walked behind Renjun to push him.

"So, you decided to bring him." Chenle looked up at Renjun, confused while Renjun nodded.

"Of course. I told you, I can't leave him anymore." Renjun looked at Chenle and smiled at him.

"Are you talking about me?"

"Of course I am." Chenle felt a little happy. Whenever he saw Renjun leave, it broke him just a teeny bit. It made him feel like Renjun didn't want to be near him.

Like he was going to abandon him.

"Well, Renjun actually cried over it yesterday. He felt bad." Chenle felt a pit in his stomach. He felt bad for making Renjun feel bad.

"I'm sorry Junnie."

"Why are you sorry?"

"Because I made you feel bad." Renjun pouted slightly and hugged his brother.

"You didn't make me feel bad, I felt bad on my own." He smiled and patted his back.

"I gotta go for a second." Renjun and Chenle looked up at Jaemin. His hands were in his pockets and he started to shake slightly.

"Cigarette break?" Jaemin nodded and walked away from the two of them. He made sure to walk as far as possible but still be able to see them. "Oh, he smokes?" Renjun nodded and began to swing again.

"Yeah. It's not really good for him but it's the only way he can relieve stress without being yelled at. He doesn't have the best life at his home either." Chenle nodded and started swinging next to Renjun.

"He seems nice." Renjun felt a smile form on his face. Chenle and Jaemin liked each other despite the rocky start and that was the only thing that mattered to him at that moment.

It was 2:30 am. He happily pushed his brother on the swings and Jaemin couldn't help but giggle at the two of them together. Renjun was happy. For once in about 5 years, he felt euphoric.
