Ladans POV
Watching her leave was the hardest thing i've eveer had to do, it was like someone was squeezing my heart telling me that i'm a dick, that me and her are meant to be. But i didn't follow her, that girl has become so important to me and i can't put her in even more danger, she's not thinking straight.
She's been through so much and however much i would like to keep her by my side at all times i can't, she doesn't deserve this life. She'd just end up resenting me.
I was stupid to think she was bluffing, i thought she would stay anyway after i told her she couldn't join my gang but realitys hit me as i stand in our room with everything of hers gone and the door slammed shut.
I'm protecting her, i chanted over and over in my head. But the more chanting i did, the more i wanted to run straight out that door after her. I'd pull her to me and tell her she can join, i'll do anything for her andwe'd be as good as new, stronger.
But there was also something else nagging at me, telling me that if i did let her join me, i was going to regret it.
I groaned and fell back onto our bed. It was all so much to deal with. I had never, never let a girl get into my head. My bed, yeah, but my head is a whole different story. I have never even noticed girls after they've given me what i want, but now it's like im a complete differet person just because of one girl. It's crazy.
I needed to get back down to the guys, tell them whats going on, or whats not going on. God knows what they're thinking, probably that i'm whipped or a pussy. Whatever, i'm the boss of them.
I also needed to prepare for tomorrow. I know who has my brother, thank good he's alive. I got sent a picture from the Border Brotherhood leader this morning, it was of Jace, he was tied to a chair in a dark room, blood everywhere, holding up his hand that they had chopped a finger off of to the camera with the most pleading look towards the camera i've only seen once before.
It was the same look he gave me when me and my dad beat the crap out of him. It almost brought a tear to my eye, almost. But i don't cry, i only cried once and i can't beleive i let Ads see me like that.
So i found out that the whole Border gang are having there monthly meeting tomorrow to discuss how all the business was going and to sort out any problems between the gangs.
So i've spent all day planning with my gang, we're going to rade it and get the leader, he's been undercover since he started leading the gang three years ago, you can't imagine my suprise to find out i had actually done business with him. He's a pshyco. My gang will kill anyone who gets in our way of getting him. This hate between our gangs has been building for years, ever since they started playing dirty, dirty in the gang world anyway, which is pretty gruesome, but he's crossed the line this time, he knows that and our gangs know that. Which is why we have to be careful, i won't be suprised if they knew we were coming tomorrow, it's quite obvious if you think about it.
It took me all day to plan, which is a long time for me. It took so long cause i couldn't get my mind of Addison. It was crazy she would just pop in there, everything reminded me of her.
I headed into the kitchen to see the guys sat at the table talking quietly. Suspicious much. These were my best guys and closest friends.
I cleared my throat and they all looked up at me.
"So where is she?" Craig said, he was kind of like the voice of reason between me and my really bad side. I trusted him with my life, he was a good friend of my dads, like a second in command to the gang. Although, I don't feel bad about throwing him against that wall before though, i could kill him for speaking so badly of Ads.
"She left, i told her she couldn't join the gang, so she said we're over." I said with a shrug, trying to act like it wasn't me bothering me when i just felt empty inside.
"what the hell did you do that for?" My best friend of 20 years, Colton said to me, standing up. I gave him a confused look, looking round at the other 2 men in my kitchen, they were looking the same as Colton was, confused and outraged.
"Why the fuck are you guys looking at me like that? Just before you were telling me to get rid of her, because she's weak and a distraction now what? You guys want her back?" I shouted, what the hell was wrong with them? Mixed signals much.
"That was before we actually met her, we completely misjudged that girl. Shes strong, you said it yourself and she's got a point. You've been so distracted with her around or without her around. Maybe you would be able to concentrate knowing she was safe by your side. You can't tell me it doesn't make sense? That girl has something, something that may just save you." Craig said. I sat down as i let his words wash over me.
"You all really think that?" I looked around at them, the third guy was Joe, he was Jace's best friend before Jace left us. Joe had no idea i still had contact with Jace and that i knew where he was until i told him why we're taking out the Border Gang tomorrow. So he's pretty angry at me. I didn't feel guilty though, Joe was Jace's best friend since they were in nappies and his secret crush. Jace couldn't be around Joe anymore because of his feelings so i kept his whereabouts a secret from Joe. We became pretty close after Jace left.
They all nodded at me which made me remember my question to them. I bit my lip trying to figure out what was right and what was wrong. I already felt so weak without Ads and it was hurting, i didn't have any energy.
"So what should I do?" I asked, wanting Ads by my side instantly.
"You go after her man! Make her yours and stop pining for fucks sake!" Colton said, i smiled, man i love these guys.
"Thanks guys." I said gratefully before i sped out the door to find that girl thats driving me crazy.
