The Camera {3} (Edited)

(Y/n)s POV

Once Tori finished my makeup and outfit, she told me to walk over to the mirror to look at myself.

I walk over to the mirror and see that I'm wearing a striped black and white off-shoulder top and black ripped jeans to match.

I then look at my makeup and it was better than what my makeup artist had ever done. It was a simple smokey look, something that wont stand out too much but brings out the color of my (e/c) eyes.

I look at Tori in amazement. She just smiles and changes into her outfit and does her own hair and makeup.

After that we hear a knock on our door and we both go over to open it.

"It is time for dinner. If you'll follow me, I'll show you to the dinner room." Natalie says

We both nod and follow her downstairs to a giant dinning room.

I look at the table to see it's already set. Tori and I look for our seats, secretly hoping we could sit next to each other. I look at the chairs to see it had name tags in the back. I took my seat and I looked to see that Tori sat across from me, as did my mother.

I look to see who sat next to me only to realize Adrien was supposed to sit next to me.

This was so a set up. I glare at my mom but she didn't notice.

I roll my eyes and lean back into my chair.

Joy, I have to sit next to another snotty rich kid to come ruin my perfectly good day. Thanks mother.

I then hear footsteps and I decided to sit upright just in case they're strict on that kind of stuff. I look up to see Adrien and his father Gabriel next to him walk in. Adrien sits down beside me and Gabriel sits at the end of the table.

A waitress soon brings out our food and we start eating. I then notice that my mother and Gabriel are exchanging knowing glances.

What is going on?

My mother then looks at me and says "(Y/n) I know you don't like this ordeal, but it'll make great business for us."

Gabriel then says "We have to discuss this ordeal because we haven't informed Adrien of any of it"

"Wait what?" I ask

He nods "Tell him"

I grip my fork tighter, really? Making me do your dirty work? I roll my eyes and look at Adrien.

"You and I are dating, well fake dating" I state bluntly

I look at mother and she raises an eyebrow

I groan "And we have a 'love' photoshoot tomorrow." I look straight at mother and if looks could kill I would have certainly have killed her.

"What? B-But I can't-" Adrien protests

Gabriel interrupts him "You have no choice in the matter, I also have schedules to give you two."

We soon receive a sheet of paper from Natalie and we literally spend every second together. Now I'm getting pissed off.

I wanted to explore with Tori, we had plans.

My mother then looks at me "Think about it, it'll be good for not only us but for you. We could put more money into your unlimited credit card."

Isn't it supposed to be unlimited?

She continues "And if you don't make it believable that card gets taken away along with that silly camera you play around with"

Oh no she didn't.

"How dare you! That's my money that I earned! And you know how important that camera is! You even said you would never use it against me!" I yell standing up

She holds her hand up "I have to go to drastic measures I'm sure you would understand"

I scoff "are you kidding me! Really? You're just going to take away dad's camera like trash!"

"I am your mother and you should do as I say. Do you hear?" she glares at me

I roll my eyes and mumble "unbelievable"

Her voice raises "What was that?"

"Fine I'll do it, but just so you know. I don't think dad would appreciate you manipulating me like that." I walk away from the table leaving her fuming but I didn't care, she threatened the only object that matters to me in this world.

My dads' favorite camera, the camera he gave to me just before he died. It's all I have left from him.

I go upstairs to my room and I hop onto the bed. I pulled out the camera he gave me.

I look through the camera and played a video of him and I playing in the snow laughing.

I silently cry, I probably sound like a spoiled brat...I'm sorry dad...I know I promised.
