A/N: Sorry I didn't update last week. There was a sickness going through our school and I got it ;( and I was sick for legit a whole week which totally sucked. Anyway, I hope you can forgive me and please enjoy the chapter.

(Y/N)s POV

Adrien took my hand, and for some reason, my fear faded just a little. Weird. It kind of reminds me of the time when Chat Noir saved me from the akumitized victim. Now that I think about it...

I look at Adrien. He looks almost exactly like Chat Noir, but more prim and proper... A voice interrupts my thoughts "Darling! Our new guest is here!" My mother says excitedly.

She's always loved, Jake.

I looked towards Jake and see he was wearing his usual leather jacket and jeans. Typical bad boy material. Adrien and I finished going down the stairs and Jake looks at me with so many emotions. I'm probably doing the same thing. He quickly covers up his emotions and smirks, holding his arms out "It's been a while, Sweetheart"

Rolling my eyes I just awkwardly walk into his arms, remaining limp. He then whispered in my ear "We need to talk."

I just harshly whisper "There's nothing we need to talk about. All we need to worry about is keeping up the act that we're oh so loving best friends."

He scoffs quietly "We need a plan (Y/N) and you know it."

I pull away, but not before whispering "Fine. Meet me outside in 5 minutes."

My mother interrupts our exchange with a smile "The crew is back together. The living room is all yours to socialize."

I just look at her confused. Why is she being so nice? This is a first...Alex catches my eye and he gives me a look. I just nod and give him a thumbs up. Mother then left and once I hear the door click, I instantly back away. Jake just rolls his eyes and looks towards everyone.

Alex smiles going for a bro hug "Jake. Missed you, buddy."

They do their usual handshake and Jake replied laughing "Man. It's been a long time."

Jake looks towards Tori and she grins hugging him "We missed you."

He smirks "I mean who wouldn't."

I scoff and roll my eyes "Please."

He looks at me, raising his eyebrow "Oh, really. Remember the time when I came over-"

I quickly run over covering his mouth "Shh!"

Everyone looks towards us questionly and I quickly took my hands away from his mouth and Jake makes a stupid comment "I guess you really can't keep your hands off me and I just got here."

"Oh, shut it."

Alex and Tori laugh, while Adrien looks at me with questions in his head. Jake nudges me and I sigh, knowing 5 minutes have passed.

I nudge Jake back and walk toward Adrien and say "Jake, this is Adrien. Adrien, this is Jake."

Adrien and Jake just look at each other sharing a staring match. Jake was the first one to break it "So you're (Y/N)s boyfriend."

Adrien just nods his way and says "And you're the ex."

They just stare at each other yet again and I roll my eyes "Okay, kids. Break it up."

Jake just smirks and looks at me "Ready?"

I just glare at him and we both walk towards the door outside. Let's hope this goes decent...But then again, I'm asking for a miracle.

(Adrien's POV)

Everyone is silent when Jake and (Y/N) walk out the door. Why are they so cozy and calm with each other? I mean, didn't (Y/N) suffer from him? Alex just says "I know what you're thinking and we should definitely eavesdrop."

Tori hit him on the arm, looking at him with the 'are you serious look' "Alex! That's so bad."

He shrugs and looks at me "Well?"

I just smirk "We should totally do it."

Tori just shakes her head in disapproval "Boys."

Alex and I both laugh at her antics, walking toward the door close enough to hear them talking. Tori reluctantly did it. I'm pretty sure she so wanted to do it but didn't want to admit it. Let's hope the three of us don't get caught.

(Y/N)s POV (Sorry it was a short Pov)

Once we got outside, we just look at each other and I sigh "Are you going to say anything? After all, you were the one who suggested we come out here."

He rolls his eyes "First off, don't act like you hate me because we all know you don't. Old feelings don't just disappear."

I glare at him "After what you did. They do."

"I told you-"

I hold my hand up "I'm not here to talk about our old relationship. I'm here to talk about how we're going to act around my mother and Adrien's father."

"Fine. I was thinking we should discuss likes and dislikes, so when your mom asks she'll know that we're on 'speaking terms.'"

"Okay...Favorite food is-"

He rolls his eyes "(F/F). Favorite color is (F/C), your pet peeve is people chewing with their mouths open,  and the most embarrassing that happened to you is when you peed your pants in 4th grade and kids sang a song about it. Last but not least, you've always wanted to be live with the stars."

I just look at him with amazement "How did you-"

"Well, we are childhood best friends after all. Do I need to remind you of myself?"

I shake my head "Your favorite food is ice cream, favorite color is green, your pet peeve is when people try to copy you, and the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you is when you fell on a treadmill in front of the whole school. And then you've always wanted to find your soulmate."

We just look at each other for a minute and Jake looks away sadly "I-I'm so sorry I-"

"Just don't. Everything is over and done with. I...I just can't think about it okay?"

He nods understanding, he walks over and hugs me tightly "Still. I messed up. You are literally the best thing that has happened to me. Please."

My voice trembles when I push him away "We already discussed this. There's no going back, you made your choice Jake."

He looks at me with saddened eyes and clenched fist "But it was the wrong choice."

My heart aches. Why? Why now? I look down holding back my tears, trying to stop the memories from coming back "You hurt me. I-I don't think I can ever trust you again. You broke it when-when"

I break down crying and Jake looks at me with a mix of pain and guilt, but I just say "Sorry. I just- Ugh. I have to go."

Jake just nods running his hands through his hair and I sprint towards the park. Once I get there I breathe in the air. Why can't I just get over him?! Why do I still love him? I put my hands over my face, trying to calm myself down.

I then hear a voice making me jump "(Y/N)? Are you okay?"

Looking towards the voice, I see it's Adrien. I don't say anything, looking at the stars. Adrien takes a seat by me and says "You don't have to speak. We can just watch the stars if you want."

I nod and take his hand, squeezing it showing him thank you. So for the rest of the night, we just stare at the stars taking in the beauty.
