Adrien's POV

I watch as her walls crumble and she breaks down. She finishes the story and drops to the floor, crying. I instantly went over to her and hugged her. She hugs me back crying in my chest saying in between cries "I-I'm sorry... Ugh! Why am I ev-even crying!"

"It's not your fault for crying... You loved him, still do most likely. It's only natural."

She randomly asks, "Why is it me? Why can't so-someone love me? What have I done to deserve this? The only person who truly loved me died, my mom barely even speaks to me, a-and Jake loved another girl. Why can't I be put first?"

I hug her more tightly, "You will eventually find someone who will love you unconditionally through your laugh, through your jokes, and especially through your faults. Trust me... You definitely have people who love you. Tori, Alex, hell... Even-"

I stop. I love her? But what about Ladybug? Is this just a spur of a moment thing or... Do I truly love her? Her voice interrupts my thoughts "...Even who?"

Pushing my feelings on her right now would not be good right now...So I just answer "Even...Even your mother loves you. It might not seem like it but I know that she truly does (y/n). No sane parent wouldn't love their child."

She looks at me in the eyes, as if to see I was lying. But when she saw the sincerity in my eyes she smiled and hugged me tighter than ever before. "Thank you Chat Noir. Thank you so much."

I hug her back, lifting us both up. "No problem princess. I didn't have to tell you all that because this is just straight up facts."

She laughs but it was cut short when a familiar voice cuts in "Cat Noir and...(y/n)?!"

We instantly let go of each other seeing Marinette at her balcony. Well crap. (y/n) looks at me whispering "We really need a different spot."

I nod and Marinette quickly comes over to us, glaring. "(y/n). Don't you have a boyfriend?"

"yes." She answers calmly, to calm.

"Then why are you snuggling up with Cat Noir?!"

She looks everywhere but Marinette's eyes and I don't blame her. Mari's looks could kill. I quickly try to interrupt, but Marinette stops me "Shut it, furball"

(y/n) sighs "No need to be mean to Chat. If you want to be mean, be mean to me. Now first off even though it's none of your business...Cat Noir and I were talking."

"It is my business because Adrien is my friend...That didn't look like talking to me either."

She rolls her eyes "Marinette. As you can see I have been crying for the last 30 minutes. Did you really expect Chat to just stand there and watch me cry? Being the good friend he is, he hugged me to comfort me."

"Okay well, then that doesn't explain all the love talk I heard just now."

"Clearly you didn't hear the whole conversation. Cat Noir and I will get going now since I have explained the situation. I don't need to explain every last detail just because you are 'Adriens friend.' Thank you for looking out though." 

She grabs my hand and pulls me behind a building. After that, she signaled for me to pick her up and bring her home. I nod and pick her up, bringing her to the house. I let her down and smirk "You really did tell her (y/n)"

She scoffs quoting me "I just stated facts." She looks at me, her facial expression softens "Thank you...really. For everything"

I smile "What are fake boyfriends for?"

We look at each other. Her eyes are beautiful...Well everything about her is beautiful. Her laugh, her smile, and just...Her. I carefully say not wanting to break the moment, "Princess..."

She just looks at me, her eyes shine with color, "Chat..."

Leaning in, I put my hand behind her head, pulling her in closer. She leans in, letting me know that it was okay. Our lips touch and everything around us became more colorful. Her lips were soft and warm. Our thoughts becoming silent, only focusing on the unknown feeling coursing through us. All of a sudden a pillow was thrown at us and we instantly pull away. 

"Please get a different room! I need my beauty sleep!" Tori yells

We blush and I stutter "W-well I guess I should...Um, leave...?"

"Um yeah. I guess..."

Tori instantly says "You guess? Sleep now, kiss later. A win-win situation."

I almost burst out laughing at this unseemly situation, but I just smile nervously at (y/n) and leave to my room. Transforming out of my suit, Plagg comes out with a huge smirk "Hate to tell you I told you so, so I'm just going to sing it!"

He spins around the room singing "Adrien and (y/n), sitting in a tree...K I S S I N G! First comes love! Second, comes marriage! And third, comes a baby in a baby carriage! That's not all...That's not all...Here comes the baby eating camembert!~"

I roll my eyes laughing and look at the mirror to see my face still tinted with a hint of pink. Plagg comes over "My boy is all grown up now!"

"Camembert?" I suggestively say, hoping he'd take the bait of distraction.

"You know me oh so well!~"

I smile and give him a piece of Cambert. Going over to my bed, I got a message and see it was from Marinette. It was a video of me hugging (y/n) on the rooftop, stating 'Just thought you should know.'

Texting back, 'Don't worry...We've already talked about it but thanks for being a good friend ^^'

Putting the phone back I decide to go to sleep. Thinking of the whole night on repeat.
