Adrien's POV

After (Y/N) and Alex walked off, I sighed and looked towards Marinette "I'm sorry about (Y/N), sometimes she can be mean"

Marinette just smiles and blushes "Y-yeah of course. I-m s-sorry about coming between you two"

I laugh, "It's not your fault."

I look at Nino and Alya and my smile falters when they shoot me looks that could kill. Nino grabs my hand and Alya stays with Marinette. After we reach a quiet spot where people won't overhear us talking, he states "what was that?"

"What was what?" I look at him in confusion.

He rolls his eyes, "Come on, dude. You can't be that oblivious! That spark, the deep looks, and the blushing going on between you and Mari."

I just look at Nino "What does that have to do with anything?"

He sighs and mutters "No wonder (Y/N) doesn't like Mari that much"

"Wait, what? (Y/N) has no reason to not like Marinette"

Nino just looks at me blankly "Really? Dude. You were basically flirting with Marinette right in front of (Y/N). No wonder she's mad. You blamed her for it."

I scoffed "I did not flirt with Marinette."

Nino just shakes his head in disbelief "You've got to be joking. You were literally holding Marinette's hand and not only that! But you started yelling at (Y/N) for it! Luckily Alex came and basically stated what was wrong."

"Nino. Marinette's just a friend."

He sighs "You'll never get it, will you?"

I groan in frustration "There's nothing to get!"

Why is he acting like this? I mean seriously. Marinette and I are friends and that's how it will always be. (Y/N) should know that.

Nino Just grabs my arm again and drags me back to the group. I see Marinette look down in shame and Alya giving a look of disappointment like a parent would do if their child acted incorrectly. "What happened?"

Marinette doesn't look at me and says "Nothing. Where's (Y/N)? I need to apologize to her..."

I look at her confused "Why?"

Alya just interrupts me with a sigh "You'll learn when (Y/N) starts flirting with another guy. Now that, that is taken care of...I think we should invite (Y/N) and her friends to get ice cream at Andre's."

I just nod, not knowing what to think. Should I invite Luka and Kagami too? Marinette interrupts me saying the exact thing that was on my mind "We should invite Luka and Kagami too. I think they would like to go out and get ice cream too."

I smile at Marinette "That's really cool of you Marinette"

She blushes, but then she looks like she remembered something and quickly stopped what she was doing "Sorry, but I have to go apologize to (Y/N)."

I was about to say something to stop her, but I stop when I see Alya glare at me daring me to say something to Marinette. I just sigh looking defeated. I look over to see (Y/N) and Marinette talking, as does Alya and Nino. 

At first (Y/N) glares at Marinette but then Mari says something to (Y/N) that makes her look at Mari in shock. Then it soon turned into a genuine smile after Marinette starts talking more. (Y/N) hugs Mari saying something in her ear. Mari smiles and laughs. 

(Y/N) and I look at each other and for a moment I see her looking at me with an unknown emotion, but then she hardens her gaze and looks away. Alya seems to notice this and she says to me "You should apologize."

I look at her confused "For what? I didn't do anything and now that I think about it, Marinette didn't either."

Alya just sighs out in frustration and says "If only you knew. If only you knew."

My bodyguard then comes up to me and says "Your father wants you home, it's getting late."

I just nod once I realize it's almost 9 pm. I say bye to Alya and Nino, then start to walk over to (Y/N) and Marinette. I overhear Marinette "And again, I'm so sorry for flirting with Adrien...I really didn't mean to offend you."

(Y/N) just looks at her and smiles "It's fine. I know what it's like to have a crush and I mean it is Adrien. I'm also sorry for acting like a complete jerk to you, I feel so horrible..."

She smiles and holds out her hand and says "Truce?"

"Truce"

I smile at them and I clear my throat "My Father wants me back home and I'm sure your mom wants you home too. So we have to go."

(Y/N) says bye to Marinette and grabs Alex and Tori. We head to the car and load in, with (Y/N) and I sitting beside each other and sitting across from us was Alex and Tori. (Y/N) looks outside and Alex says "I forgot to tell you...But, Jake called..."

I look at (Y/N) and her voice was laced with both confusion and shock "W-What did he say?"

Did I hear that correctly? (Y/N) stumbling on her words? That can't be right.

Alex looks at her with sadness and pity "Well...I hate to tell you this, but Jake is coming."

"How?! Why?"

"Well, you know how your mother knew about you guys?"

She nods and that only made me more confused than ever. What does that mean? Was this 'Jake' and (Y/N) an item?

Alex continues "Your mom thought it would be nice to invite the whole crew and well we just need Jake here to do that."
