(Y/N)s POV

I found this place, and I should at least be able to participate! I hate just waiting. What if I was actually right? Adrien will be crushed and I want to be there for him. He needs someone to help him and I don't want him to be akumitized. I need to make sure Adrien is safe. Ladybug is making it so much harder. I see them enter the room and I hear the door softly shut. I look at my phone and eagerly wait for the 5 minutes to come. Please be okay, Adrien. Please. Wait for me.

(Adriens POV)

We walk in and it took so much out of me to not close my eyes and just run. But I can't do that. I have to be a hero and give my father the benefit of the doubt. There is no way. I look over and see Hawkmoth and something behind him. Which looked kind of like a casket.

I go into an attack position, and so does Ladybug. She yells, "We caught you Hawkmoth. Surrender now!"

He looked surprised, "How did you-"

Ladybug interrupts him "Surender now. There is nowhere for you to go now."

He sighs and says "Camille. Stop attacking, we have a problem." he looks at me, "Adrien."

"How did you- No. Father...?" I back away.

Ladybug looks at me in shock but I ignore it. "Please. No. Y-You can't be..."

"Adrien. Listen to me, my son." He moves out of the way and I see my mom. "I'm doing this all for her. For our family. I can save her!"

He moves towards me and I trip and fall to the ground. Towering over me he says, "Join me. Help save your mother. You know it's the right thing to do."

Ladybug snaps out of it and says "Adrien. Don't listen to him! Nothing good will come out of hurting other people. He might be lying."

"Adrien all I need to save her is your miraculous. I never intended to hurt others but you fought back."

I just shake my head, "Stop...Stop it!"

He lets out an akumitized butterfly and it slowly comes towards me. Ladybug looks at me in panic, "Adrien, no! We can figure this out! Please stay strong"

"Don't listen to her lies. Just give in. Save her and we can be a family again."

My vision is blurred with tears and I just shake my head "P-Please...Stop...Stop it...I-I"

I hear the door slam open and a familiar voice shouts "Adrien!"

Looking at the door I see (Y/n) and she instantly runs over to me, almost tripping over her dress she lands next to me. She hugs me "Adrien, I'm so sorry. I should've gotten here sooner."

I let out a shaky sigh and hug her back. She pulls back and glares at my father and gets her purse swatting the Akuma away. Looking back at me, "We'll figure it out, Adrien. Together. You don't need to become a bad person to help your mother. You have a lot of people who will help you through this...Marinette, Alya, Nino, Tori, Alex, and even Jake! So, please...Don't give in, okay?"

"H-How do you know? What if I can really save my mother by just giving up a stupid ring."

She looks me in the eyes, "Adrien. I'm sure your mother would want you to help her in the best way possible. I don't think she'll want you to hurt other people. Imagine the guilt she'll feel...Not only her but you too. Just believe me, okay?"

I push her away, "What do you know!? I can save her! You can't just expect me to believe you (y/n)!"

She looked hurt and I almost regret it but she just mumbles something and I just say, "I couldn't hear you."

Father interrupted "Adrien. This is the only way and you know it. If these friends really cared about you, they would let you save your mother."

(y/n) glares at him "Shut up. There are other ways to save her! Stop trying to bring in your own son! What kind of father are you?"

He just stays silent and she looks at me "Adrien you have to believe me. Please. Don't do it."

"Why? Why should I? What would you know? You just got here in Paris. You can't jus-"

"Because I love you, Adrien!"

I stop and look at her, "...What?"

"Look I know this is a weird time but this is the only way to get through to you so I'll say it. What I meant to say this whole time...I-I love you. So much it hurts. Adrien believe me when I say I know what it feels like to lose a parent. Maybe not getting the chance of seeing them possibly alive, but knowing they are dead." She takes out a camera, which I recognize is the camera she tried so hard to protect.

She threw it to the ground, smashing it into pieces. I look at her in shock, "Why? It was so-"

"Because I need to move on and my father wouldn't want me to live like this. In constant sorrow and sadness." She looks at me, "Please Adrien. We can find a way to help your mother. I promise."

I look down and Ladybug puts a hand on my shoulder, "(y/n) is right. We have your back."

Father just laughs "You don't think I haven't tried another way?! I-I tried everything! Everything! Nothing worked."

(y/n) looks at him, "Please take my advice, Gabriel. Your wife would've never wanted this and inside you know it. I know it means nothing from a stupid teenager but you have people in your life that will help you."

He shakes his head "No. No..."

A voice interrupts "Gabriel. This is enough. As your best friend...I just can't let you continue to hurt yourself like this."

I look up and see (y/n)s mom and (y/n)s eyes widen, "Mother..."

Camille gives her a nod and walks over to my father hugging him. "This is enough, Gabriel. We can find another solution."

His transformation wears off and he just limps into her arms, "Camille I can't...I won't lose her."

"you won't. I will make damn sure of it. Now listen to my advice for once you stubborn old fool. Natalie is waiting for you upstairs."

I look as my father crumbles in (y/n)s mother's arms, crying. It was probably the first time since my mom supposedly went missing. She nods at us to leave and we do. Going up the elevator, we reach toward my father's office. At this moment everything finally hits me and I found myself crying more than I ever have.
