chapter 5 : beautiful stranger

After that wicked dream of mine,I froze on my bed and didn't get out of it until my mother got up for work and came to my room.

"dear,you have to get up now or you will be late" she said softly.

My mother knew that I wasn't the slaker type who loves been glued to her bed.

I made my numb feet move towards the floor and slipped on my fluffy pink slippers and headed to the bathroom.

I took a moment to take a full look on my reflection in the ebony framed mirror .

I look horrible , I thought to myself. My face was so pale and I had dark circles under my eyes.

I splashed some water on my face and put on some sun screen so I wouldn't burn my sensetive skin.

I dragged myself to the kitchen and grabbed a banana . Maria was probably hungry , I couldn't help but to think that way , which made me lose my apetite , so I just drank a cup of water and left.

I closed my bedroom door and opened my closet.

I grabbed the first things I found . a knee length blue skirt and a plain white shirt.

I glanced over the mirror on the closet's door , and something caught my eye.

*flash back *

"hey I love this belt!!" said Maria enthusiasm dripping from her words.

"but you know I don't wear belts!" I whined.

Maria had dared me to buy a random item she picks up in any store we pass by in the mall.

the belt was made of light brown leather and it was very delicate and thin ...completely not my style ,and she knew that well.

Maria gave me a serious look and said "you promised ,remember?"

I sighed deeply and didn't even bother to fight her back .

if my friend set her mind on something ,she wouldn't stop until she got it done.

*end of flash back*

I touched the soft leather and stared at it for a while .

then I grabbed it by the ends and put it around my waist .

my friends had always envied me for my curvy body and S line as I had a very defiend waist and slim long legs.

a faint smile crept on my face as I grabbed my bag and hurried towards the door.

My mother had already left and so did my father . I was disappointed for not seeing my dad today but I will make it up to him somehow.

I chuckled as I took a look at the living room .

The annoying dude was snoring lightly while hugging a pillow like a baby dressed only in a pair of boxers.

"you disguisting creature " I mumbled . Any girl would go wild if she saw Jake's abs but they didn't have that charm on me , he still looked like a pig .

I closed the door and made my way to the bus station .

it was 7:35 when I looked at my red baby-g watch , so the bus was about yo arrive any minute.

as I waited for the bus , a very weird sensation washed over me .

I felt watched. I looked around for a sigb of any eyes looking my way but the movement in the street was ordinary like any other day.

a very loud horn cut me off my distraction. the bus had arrived , so I hopped in and took a seat .

something was weird , I was the only passenger from my stop . usually a couple of kids , an old lady , and a man waited with me but today I was alone.
