chapter 7 : a story to be told

A/N : okay guys . I am reaaaaallllllyyyy sorry for the delay in uploading but I am really busy with school work .

so from now on updates are going to be quite slow :( I really want to write and I have a surprise for you all but as I said time is not on my side .

anyways , enjoy this chapter

p.s : this is only part one since I am still working on something big *wink*

School day passed by in a blink of an eye or -so I thought -,because I was basically spacing out the whole time .

as the bell rang , I gathered my books and my pens that were scattered every where on my table and grabbed my heavy backpack and left.

as soon as I walked out of the class , I found Hayaku waiting for me with a couple of white papers.

" what's up??" I said coolly , Hayaku is probably one of the few people who make me feel better just by appearing in front of me .

" um let me think , the physics exam went quite well , I Simony and I are making good progress with our project , and um... YOU HAD LUNCH WITH A GUY!!!!"

her voice rose immensely when she mouthed the last part.

my eyes widened and my and I gave her a -what-the-hell look

" do you work for the FBI?!!" I said surprised.

" okay first of all , wipe that stupid look off your face , second , everyone in school is talking about the new hottie who sat next to the bookworm at lunch today . and third , no I don't work for the FBI for god's sakes!! "

I let out a sigh and pouted my lips . I am the type that cares about what people say about me, but I am just too proud to do something and change it especially if it was a good habit like being a bookworm or even a nerd.

" I just met him on my way to school and he just tagged along at lunch because he had nowhere else to go." I shrugged . I didn't tell her about what he told me afterwards because I didn't get it myself!

" hmmmmm.... you like him don't you?!" Hayaku narrowed her eyes and stared at me with a -I-know-you-too-well look .

" how can I like someone I just met!! .. I .. eh.. don't know.. I mean .. he IS attractive but .. "

I looked away avoiding her stern gaze . and suddenly she burst out in laughter " you... Oh god! ... you don't know what your face looks like now .. " she said catching her breath.

" ugh whatever , if you are going to keep talking about this I will leave to catch my bus "

I said and started to walk away when she stopped me and handed me the papers I saw in her hand earlier.

" come on don't be like that! it is not wrong to fall for someone , I am wishing that you would actually get the fact that not every guy you meet is out of your league or that he is going to break your heart.

just think about this over the weekend and reflect on yourself.

but meanwhile , would you mind reading this piece for me?? I wrote as a completation for the novel I started writing during summer"

she pouted and blinked for one hundred times like a crazy puppy . so I just nodded and wished her a nice weekend and left .

I reached the big white bus that was already packed with people . I darned my luck under my breath and crossed my fingers hoping that I would find an empty seat .

As soon as I hopped in , I caught glimpse of a pair of sea blue eyes looking at me with some sort of feeling I couldn't understand.

Nate waved at my direction and patted an empty seat right next to him.

My eyes widened and I gulped loudly .

Did Nate Archer just invited me to sit next to him in public transportation!!
