Chapter 2

that's the last thing i remembered was the blonde hair

i woke up seeing bright white lights and hearing whispering voices

i turned to the left and saw Rydel

then turned to the right and saw a bunch of doctor instruments

i turned back to Rydel and whispered her name i tried to speak louder but i couldn't get it out

she turned toward me and smiled and walked over the the hospital bed

"Hey girlie how are you feeling" she said to me i replied "i am feeling a lot of pain actually"

she looked frightened and said "i'll go tell the doctor"

the doctor came in and gave me meds and some juice

I asked rydel "what happened?" she answered "you were doing a back flip and fell straight on your back and it broke" i started to tear up "oh my god! how did i get here?" "my brothers helped get you to the ambulance and they took you"

"you have brothers?" i asked "yes Ross, Riker, Rocky, and Ryland" she told me "oh all i remember is someone picking me up and they were blurry and had blonde hair"

"oh that was Ross he picked you up and put you in the ambulance" rydel told me

"awh how sweet!" i giggled "i want to meet him" "okay i'll go get him" rydel told me then ran out the door

i saw a tall blonde boy walk into the room he was cute, i guess he was ross

"Ross?" i said looking up "yeah?" he replied "i just wanted to say thank you for carrying me to the ambulance" he looked at me and said "your welcome! i couldn't think of anything else to do"

"Awh! i could've died but you saved me seriously i couldn't thank you enough" i told him "Haha your welcome" he smiled

we talked to each other for a long while then Rydel walked back in and said "Ross, mom wants you home" Ross said okay and waved goodbye too me saying "Bye Bye Carter!"

i smiled rydel walked over to me and whispered "i think he likes you" and giggled i smiled and said "haha he is pretty cute"

rydel sat and comforted me and we talked for a long time until i fell alseep again

i woke up and saw my dad and taylor above me and the doctor talking about my injuries

my dad looked pretty upset and scared which made me nervous

i heard "has to stay well-rested" and "physical therapy" and "no dancing" my heart started beating so hard i thought it was going to pound out of my chest

no dancing? what? dance is my life! i can't just stop! what about my team? Mary? what am i gonna do!

i shouted "WHAT?!" once the doc said "no dancing" they all looked down at me my dad was shaking his head and my step mom put her hand on my shoulder

"What do you mean no dancing?! dancing is my life i can't just stop!" i looked up at them the doctor said to me "i'm sorry Carter but your not going to be able to dance for a while" then he mumbled just loud enough for me to hear "maybe never again"

i started to shake and sweat "Dad!" tears started to surface my face "I can't stop dancing!" my dad looked at me and said with a calm voice "It'll be okay Carter you just have to stay well rested okay?" i looked at him my eyes were red all around and tears were rolling down my face "i'm sorry honey" my step mom added

i just laid there with my hands over my eyes and didn't stop crying i heard a door creak and uncovered my eyes and looked at the door and there stood Ross

i covered my eyes again because i was embarrassed i was crying he said "Carter? why are you crying?!" he looked really concerned

"the doc said i had to stop dancing"

i started crying again "Carter oh my gosh i'm so sorry i know you told me dancing was your life" ross tried to comfort me

he grabbed my hand and didn't let go until the doctor came in and told me that i was going home in 4hours

i asked ross "Hey ross?" "yeah?" he answered "Can you Stay?" ross looked at his phone at the time it was 3:00pm and looked back up and replied "Yes"

we both fell asleep "Carter" i heard my dad calling my name "Let's go home" i lifted my head and i felt down my side i had a big brace on my back around my stomach it felt gross "okay" i said

ross woke up and walked me out and then left to go home

i texted rydel the next morning and said "Hi rydel i'm home can you come hangout with me?" a few seconds later she replied saying "sure! can i bring my family?" i told her "sure! make sure ross is there hehe" she answered "haha i will be sure to tell him to come"
