i woke up the next morning finding a little note of my pillow that said "Good Morning Carter Taylor and I went to go see Steff this morning we'll text you when were on our way home -dad"
i rolled over to the other side of my bed and clicked the "on" button on my phone and it lit up and i showed i got a text from Ross
"Hey do you wanna hang out today?" i went into the message and replied "sure! what do you want to do?"
ross replied right away "Park?" i smiled "Sure! i'll walk up to your house in 30"
i started to get ready and i figured i would get over there early so i could talk to rydel
so i grabbed a cute shirt, skinny jeans and my ugg boots because it's chilly outside today
then i walked out the door and started up the road to the lynch's house
i finally got there and Riker opened the door saying "Hey Carter! hows it going?" i started to walk to the stairs and said "Great thanks sorry got to go talk to rydel" and turned and ran up the stairs and nocked on her door
"Rydel!!" i opened the door "yeah? she turned up at me and laughed "i.. i need to talk to you about something" i paused "Ross and i we uh kissed last night"
she looked all shocked "OMG seriously? your kidding! what? finally! she smiled at me "yeah and now he wants to hang out again"
Ross' POV:
"Riker? did Carter come yet?" riker looked up and laughed "Yeah she is up with rydel"
My eyes opened wide "What?"
"oh crap!" and i ran up the stairs
"Carter?" i yelled
oh my gosh she is telling rydel no no no this can't be happening!!
Carter's POV:
i heard ross yelling my name and i started to panic ross, he knows i'm telling rydel uh oh
"Carter?" i looked and saw ross entering the room "Hey Ross, come on let's go" i waved bye to rydel grabbing ross' hand and walking out door
ross followed behind me then said to me "Hey you gotta tell me before you go and tell one of my family members that we kissed" i looked down
"I'm sorry i needed to tell someone!" i looked back up at him "It's okay lets go" he grabbed my hand and we went to the car and we drove up to the beach
"the beach? but it's cold" i giggled at ross "we're gonna have a picnic" ross smiled jumping out of the car and running to the passenger side
he opened the door for me and held out his hand so i grabbed it and jumped out of the car
he didn't let go of my hand so i just held it and he interlocked our fingers
i looked up at him and smiled "Hey just because we kissed does not mean that we are dating...yet" i giggled
"Your right" he frowned looking at me then started to smirk "Alright then Carter, will you please go out with me?"
i giggled and said "I would be honored"
"Yes!" ross whispered to himself but i could hear him i rolled my eyes and smiled
"Now lets get on with this picnic" he smiled
we had our picnic and talked and talked and talked it was great
we laid down onto the blanket and to be completely honest it was really cold where we were but i didn't want to complain so i just laid there
ross looked over and me and i shivered then all the sudden ross was sitting right up next to me rubbing my arms to keep me warm
then he sat up and grabbed my hand to help me up and handed me his jacket "Thank you for this"
he smiled "your welcome!"
he drove me home and again he kissed me and my heart started to pound really fast I can't believe he actually likes me
i ran up to my door and waved back at ross and ran into the house
