Chapter 9

I woke up a few minutes before ross and I didn't want to wake him so just laid there right next to him

then he began to move around and then rubbed his eyes with his hands

I whispered "hi" he turned on his side and looked at he and said "good morning beautiful"

i smiled and then looked up at him and he kissed my forehead "how are you doing?" he asked me

"um okay i guess" i paused and then said "how did you find out about you know" i turned onto my stomach and propped myself up on my elbows

"rydel when she came home she ran into my room and told me so i ran all the way to your house" he propped himself on his elbows just like me

"so they aren't going to treat her?" he asked

"no, taylor refuses for her to be treated" i said as a teardrop rolled down my cheek

"that's horrible!" ross said angrily as he stood up and walked out of the room

"ross what are you doing?" i yelled across the room

he didn't answer so i got up and ran out the door seeing him walking down the stairs

"ross wait where are you going?"

"to the kitchen i'm hungry" he laughed

"oh" i said in relief and i then caught up with him

"ow" i said "what's wrong?" ross asked me as we walked to the kitchen "my back, i just ran out of my room and down the stairs I don't know i guess it was just too much because i just woke up"

"oh i'm sor-" i cut him off then pulled him into the small hallway bathroom "shhh" i said "my dad and taylor don't know you are here" i looked up at him worried

"hey it's fine i will say i just got here" he smiled at me i nodded

i slowly opened the door and peered out to make sure no one was there

ross then pulled the door closed kissed me and then opened it back up and walked out into the kitchen

"hey guys i just got here is carter up?" i heard him ask my family

"yeah i think so you can go check up in her room" my dad replied

"alright thank you!" ross then walked into the hallway as i rushed out of the bathroom and up the stairs

"wow ur good" i said to him laughing "i know i know" he laughed and sat down on my bed

"hey thank you" i sat down next to him

"for what?" he put his hand on my thigh

"everything, you came to my house last night to make sure i was okay and you stayed the night right by my side, and you-" he cut me off

"your welcome" he laughed "no biggie" he said plopping down on his back onto the bed

"my back really hurts now" i frowned

"when are you going to be able to dance again?" he asked

"the doctor said not for a long time and i love dancing I don't know what I am going to do" i looked up at him

"well i'll be here and we can talk to the doctor and see if you can start again in like little bits, rydel and i will work with you and you'll be back on the team in no time!" he smiled

"ROSS! that would be the best thing ever thank you" i smiled and then kissed his forehead

"Well let's go then" he smiled

"I can't" i said sadly "my family and i are going to my grandparents today to tell tommy how steffany is he's been there ever since this started because my dad and taylor didn't want him to be freaked out and stuff sorry ross" i said with a frown

"It's okay" hi smiled "tomorrow?"

"absolutely thank you so much" i smiled
