A/N: Again... I am soooooooooo sorry about not uploading and I know it has been a really long time! I just moved into my new apartment and started my new school yesterday! It's been really crazy for me, but here is the next chapter. Even though it may take a while, I WILL most definitely not drop IAOT! And because I feel so bad, I tried to make this chapter EXTRA long!

I'm paddling as quick as I can, but I'm not getting anywhere. I'm turning to the left and I really have no idea why this is happening. Jake is ahead of me by a couple feet. He turns to look at me and starts laughing. "The metal bar Kitty! Turn it to the right!" He calls to me.

i look around for the metal bar and find it. It was right in front of me that whole time. I yank it to the right and turn so I am facing Jake. "I knew that," I blush slightly.

"Sure you did," he winks at me and paddles on. I follow after him, always a foot or two behind. Jake slows down a bit, but I can't stop in time and my boat rams into his with a lot of force. Both of our boats rock back and forth violently. I don't even know how, but me being clumsy me, I fall out of the boat and land with a splash in the water.

"Kitty!" Jake yells as I'm going down. Luckily, the water here isn't too deep and I have the life jacket on. "Hold on Kitty, I'm coming," Jake tells me. He turns around and paddles back to me. "Are you alright?"

I nod. "Yeah, I'm fine," Jake holds out his hand. I take it and he pulls me up, but the added, uneven weight topples his boat over as well. "Oh god," I rub my forehead. I've ruined the whole date. It's probably the worst one Jake has ever been on. He is probably having a miserable time, but when I open my eyes, Jake is laughing uncontrollably. "What?" I ask. Why is he laughing. I've gotten us both soaking wet.

"Your face when we fell," he barely manages to choke out. "It was like," he imitates my face, a shocked expression complete with wide eyes and arms up and flailing.

"Stop it! I did not look like that!" I laugh softly because that face is pretty funny.

Jake stares at me with a knowing look. "Yes you did, don't deny it,"

I can't argue with Jake, it's just not possible for me. "Okay, fine. Maybe it did, but your face was just as bad," I didn't even notice his face as we were going down, but I bet it was. I make up a shocked looking face. "That's what yours looked like,"

Jake cracks up. "That was even worse than the original face you made," We are both just floating in the middle of a pond laughing like freaks but I don't care. I'm actually enjoying this a lot.

Once we're done being psychos, Jake looks out over my head. "What?" I turn around and look where Jake is. Out paddle boats are floating away. "Shit!" I look back at Jake and for some reason, we break out in laughter again. I don't know how our boats floating away is funny, but apparently it is. I don't think I've laughed this much ever.

"Come on," Jake takes my hand and starts swimming to one of the boats. I kick so I won't be like dead weight. I can't help but notice how perfectly his large hand fits around my small one. He grabs the boat and motions for me to grab hold. "Hold onto it, I'll be back over with the other one," He smiles and swims quickly to the other.

He pulls it over to where I'm floating and tells me to grab onto the back of his. "Don't let go," he warns me.

"I won't," I say with a small grin. He starts pulling his boat and within a second, my boat and I. I kick my feet to help us get to land quicker. Jake looks back at me. "Don't worry Kitty, we're almost there," We make it to the dock and I hang onto the boats while Jake pulls himself up onto it. He then pulls up the two boats and I am left floating in my life jacket.
