Reborn as the Black Dragon Emperor (Ongoing)

Chapter 9 The Warning

I woke up back in the infinite white room where Zymus brought me on our first talk. "Zymus! What do you want!?" I yelled into the abyss of nothingness, then he appeared, "I want to warn you", he said, "warn me? about what?" I asked, "about the other gods, I'm afraid you've become their top priority, because of your affiliation," he replied, "what do you mean my affiliation" I prodded more, "well, you're a being of pure darkness, that's on the side of good, why wouldn't they be suspicious? and its also the fact that your power is growing at an exponential and, to be honest, frightening rate," he made a good point, "but don't they know how to deal with stuff like this? I mean there were other Black Dragon Emporers before me...... right?" I asked, "well, yes, but it took them years to gain the power that you've gained in mere days" he answered "so this power increase rate isn't normal, even for the black dragon Emporer, that plus me a being evil itself but I'm a good guy, is frightening the other gods" I summarized "yep, anyway that's all, you can go now" he said then snapped his fingers and I was back at my inn room. I must have been out for a while because it was now night, which reminded me that I wanted to see if there are any Shinobi (A\N A.K.A Ninjas) in this world, eh, I'll find out tomorrow. That's when Aitami opened the door and saw me "Suragi!" Aitami yelled as she pounced on me with a big hug, then quickly got off with a look of embarrassment. It was too bad I kinda liked the hug. Anyway, I looked at her with a face that said 'why did ya stop' and she just shrugged, "what happened, I thought you'd died," she asked, "well, it's kinda hard to explain," I answered, but see kept pestering me about so told her, "(sigh) look, I lived once before, a different life in another world," (A\N referencing the book 'A New Life In Another World' it's a great book by acpro123 I highly suggest you read if you haven't already), "but I died and was reborn here. . . .," I hesitated wondering if should leave the whole 'being of pure evil yet I'm a good guy' shtick out, but I'd have to tell her eventually, so I just got on with it, even though the words stuck in my throat like that one piece of chip that stabs you on it's way down, ". . . .as the Black Dragon Emporer" as soon as I said it thunder roared in the background, yet there's no cloud in the sky, for crying out loud, are you kidding me?. All Aitami did was gasp and take a step back, I sighed again, "aaand now your scared of me," I said while resting my head on my hand, "what, me? No, I'm not scared by the fact the one of the most powerful beings in the world and one of the only immortal one's is sitting right in front of me not to mention that it happens to be the most evil one of all, along with the fact that he's the one I have a crush on," she stopped abruptly and went red, "uuuhhh. . .  forget I said that last part," she ordered me but I had already heard it, "wait wait wait, wait, you, whom would gladly stare daggers into me the moment I did something you didn't like, have a crush on me?," I asked jokingly to try and lighten the mood, "it was a recent development, okay, besides I said forget about it," was her answer, "alright, alright, just don't literally crush me," and with that we went to our separate rooms and fell asleep.
