They came out of the shop and it was raining once more. 'Does it ever stop raining for more than five minutes in this place?' Lauren moaned, pulling the hood of her coat up around her neck.

'Apparently not.' Dani said.

'So what's the plan now?' Amy asked. 'It's not like we can do any more tourist stuff if there are demons after us.'

'A demon attack in a crowd of innocent people would be very bad.' Katherine agreed.

'We need more information on the club.' Amy said. 'I don't want to go in there without knowing as much as possible.'

'I don't want to go in there at all.' Dani said quietly.

'We could try talking to Anthony again?' Lisa suggested.

'He made it perfectly clear he wasn't going to help us.' Amy reminded them.

'No, Lisa's right.' Christina said. 'He said can't help us, not won't.'

'You think someone's forcing him to be a part of the club?' Katherine wondered.

'Or he's got some sort of contract with them he can't get out of. So maybe if we can convince him that we're going to shut it down for good he'll help us.' Christina said.

'How do we contact him?' Lauren asked.

'We know he's at our hotel.' Lisa said. 'Why don't we just ask reception?'

'Because we only know his first name, and I'm pretty sure hotels aren't allowed to release the personal information of their guests to complete strangers.' Katherine said.

'Good point.' Lisa said.

'We could go looking for a fight.' Amy said. 'If he really wants us to leave he might intervene.'

'And if he doesn't care?' Lauren wondered.

'Then we're screwed.' Amy said. 'Okay, bad idea.'

'No, I like it.' Christina said. 'We can stake out the club and follow a demon when they leave. Anthony said he can sense magic so if he's inside he will be able to sense us.'

'So me, Kath and Chris will go.' Dani said.

'Why not the rest of us?' Lisa said, slightly hurt at being left out.

'No offences Lise, but your power isn't that helpful for demon fighting.' Dani said.

'And Amy, we can use the amulet, like you said taking turns.' Katherine added.

'The demons know about me anyway, I can come.' Lauren said.

'No, it's too dangerous.' Dani said. 'And your power isn't that helpful in a fight either.'

'Hey! I've helped vanquish demons before.' Lauren reminded her.

'Guys, enough.' Christina cut in. 'Dani, Kath and I are going to the club. Everyone else is going back to the hotel. End of conversation.' She said, walking quicker in front of them. Lauren shot a worried glance to Dani as everyone followed silently.

Christina, Dani and Katherine made their way to the end of the street where the club was. There was a fresh layer of rain on the floor. They could see one light above the door to the club as they peered around the corner. The rest of the street was dark. Katherine and Christina had voted that Dani should wear the protection amulet, no matter how much she protested. 'Now we just wait here?' She asked.

'Yep.' Christina said.

'What if no one comes out?' Dani wondered.

'Then we come back tomorrow night.' Christina said.
