After Jongho and Mingi had left a completely stunned, but relieved Yeosang on the bench, the boy needed a moment to work out what exactly had happened just then. Mingi and Jongho had apologized to him. Mingi and Jongho had promised him that they won't bother him anymore. Mingi had promised to make sure Jaeyeol and Namgu wouldn't bother him anymore.
Yeosang just hoped they were sincere. That this wasn't another trap like the incident with Taylor back then. He had looked them in the eyes and hadn't found any signs of insincerity, but he still wasn't sure. Maybe the two of them are just really good actors and in the end it was all fake again. He shook his head. He decided to just hope that they said the truth, that they were really sorry. It could only get better from this point anyway, couldn't it?
He pushed himself up from his shaded seat and made his way to his next class. He had missed math, but it wouldn't be a huge problem. He was sure the teacher would forgive him if he proved him that he would catch up on everything the rest of the course did that lesson.
The rest of the day went by without any other unusual incidents, he visited his classes, did the tasks and spend the break with his friends. Mingi and Jongho had held their promise so far. They had thrown him some glances, apologetic ones, not the hateful gazes he would receive from them normally, smiled at him a few times and had kept their distance. Apparently they had also distracted Jaeyeol and Namgu, because they didn't show up anywhere around their usual victim.
Yeosang was happy as ever, when he walked out the gates, about an hour left until he would start his shift at Spring Breeze Café. Enough time to go to Starbucks, get a coffee and get some peace while reading a book, he thought, but his plan was screwed up just a moment later.
"Yeosang!" Yeosang froze in his spot when he heard the familiar voice from just a few meters behind him. The warm tingling feeling in his stomach set in one again and changed into a nervous rumbling until the owner of the voice had caught up to him. The nearing footsteps had come to a stop in front of the shy boy and he lifted his gaze to meet the eyes of the one he had already tried to avoid during the lunch break.
"Can I talk to you for a moment? Maybe I could treat you to a coffee at Starbucks?", Seonghwa asked nervously after he had managed to catch the younger. Yeosang nodded shyly. He wondered what Seonghwa was planning, but he didn't mid his company, given that he had planned to go grab a coffee anyway. Just the book would have to wait.
Seonghwa lead the smaller to his black Audi, that was neatly parked in the schools parking lot. After giving it an astonished look Yeosang got in the passenger seat of the spacious car. Seonghwa backed out of the parking slot and manoeuvred the vehicle towards the coffee shop he had noticed Yeosang visiting almost every morning.
