Vanille's POV
"I'm Von!"
Daniels eyes widen. His hands tremble. He looks... Shocked.
Darkness starts to consume my vision. Everything is blurred. My heart is beating slowly. I feel cold.
Everything blacks out.
The last thing I managed to see is Daniel, looking at me with tears on his eyes, calling out for me.
I can't stand this. My head...
It's all in my head!
No. You are the problem. Everything you've done was nothing but useless. You've ruined your life with every decision you took.
No! That's not true! Coming back was not a mistake!
Say what you want. Hiding everything from him was, indeed, a mistake. Your wrongs outstand.
"Damn it!" I hear someone yelling.
Arashi!
You still hold on to that nickname. It's another proof you are a hypocrite. You can't even refer to him by his name like you used to.
Stop!
"Hang on. I'll call an ambulance"
It's useless.
What are you anyways!? Just tell me! Who are you, Verx!? Wai-
Verx's the name. Glad to meet you.
How do I-
Know my name? Who knows.
Why can't we just- get along?
"Please don't leave me"
I don't know. Don't care either.
Please... I had enough.
Let's talk, then...
Daniel's POV
I check Vanilles pulse again. It doesn't feel like the last time this happened. I bolt outside the room only to see Crystal and Cammy sleeping. It's been 5 minutes since Vanille fainted.
I- seriously!?
My heart rate increases more and more. I'm sweating uncontrollably.
Calm down. Every time you get anxious, you do things the wrong way.
I take a deep breath.
"Crystal! Cammy! Wake up!" I yell at their faces.
They start to wake up, slowly but surely.
"What happened?" Cammy asks, concerned.
"Vanille needs medical help! That's what happening!" I exclaim.
I must hide she's Von for now. Everything is going so fast. We need to concentrate.
"Let me check on her," Crystal says as she stands up from the floor and walks to Cammys room. I let out a sigh of relief knowing that Crystal had medical training in college and is capable of handling this. Even if drunk, she can handle this.
Still, I already called an ambulance...
"Is she okay?" Cammy asks. Even though she's more than drunk, she looks really worried.
"Her pulse is weak. I called an ambulance. I don't think we can help her," I explain.
Cammy just lowers her head and stays silent.
