When one believes
They can truly see
All the things
That life will bring
If I hope hard, work twice as hard
Pray a hundred times that
Then life will bring what
it owes to me
but life doesn't owe us anything
but we owe it to Him
ourselves and the world
to make our lives meaningful
The world is cold and unfair
It is a heart that beats
Then gets torn apart again and again
until the menders and sowers
patch up the quilt that is
your life
When you feel alone
He's there to fix you
I know not to give up
He gave me a purpose
