Chapter 3

Hunter POV

I am now in the library along with my partner for our history project about werewolves and vampires. Can't believe i was partnered with a human, the human freak in our school; at least thats what everyone in our school say. This is just great. What is she thinking pairing up a human; a mere human who looks like a vampire to me, their future Alpha?

"Oi!" I called to her, she turned her head to me with a scowl on her face. Not bad, this girl have guts. Im still not forgetting the way she look at me though.... a mere human sizing up a wolf like she's a predator. Others would not let it go and i probably wouldn't too but somehow this human girl is starting to interest me.

Actually, she's really pretty for a human, her looks is beyond other werewolf girls. She could be popular if this school was a normal school, unfortunately its not.

"What?!" she ask annoyed. I raise my eyebrow at her because of the way she talks to me.

History is not my thing, I'm not good in memorizing, if its Math then it will be no problem for me. So i decided to delegate all the project to her, i mean come on what can she do about it? I can use my Alpha command on her even though she's not a member of my pack but since she's a human she will definitely obey me.

'You'll do the project in History.' i told her in my Alpha command voice. I waited for her reaction and say yes but that's not what i got. She snorted at me and went to the vacant tables and sat on one of the chairs. She pull out a book and place it on the table and opened it while staring at him she said: 'No way wolf, i hate history, i rather sleep than do that history things about old wolves and vamps in the past.' she said and rested her head in the opened book.

What was the purpose of the book?
Her pillow?
Anyways.... did she just ignore my alpha command? Okay, why didn't it work? 'It was a command!' I told her, when she didnt answer back i got tick off and yelled at her.

'HEY!!!!!'

'Wolf your in the library....read the sign , it says; Please be Quiet.' she said as if i didn't yelled at her, she's relax in her position even though people started to look at her. I walk closer to her and sat beside her. She tilted her head and stared at me. 'How about you do the wolves part and I do the Vamps' she said 'Or maybe you can do all of it and i'll just sleep.' she added like it was a fucking brilliant plan.

What the heck is wrong with this girl... Does she not know who am i? Or she's just not really that afraid of me. Well, that's a possibility but she's a human. Human are cowards and easily scared.

'Why does she want us to have a researched about the history anyway...It's all in the past, what's the point in knowing those old people. Their just old and some of them are dead.' she said while looking at the books that we took from the shelves. 'Hey..are you not scared of me?' i ask her.

'Should i be scare?' she returned. 'If you want i can, but thats too much work like i have scream bloody murder and run and thats not my thing.' She mumbled.

'Yes. I'm a wolf.' i told her, ignoring her mumbled words.

'So? Your not the only wolf that i know.' she said

She know wolves...? Interesting! Humans are scared to us, to think that she know some. This is going to be interesting. 'That's cool. Wanna be friends?' i ask her. I mean come on, it's going to be interesting if she become my friend, a wolf and his puny little human friend that looks like a vampire. Now that sounds FUN!

'An Alpha friend huh?!' she said while thinking 'Now that's interesting.' she added. See, even the way she talks, i think this girl and i can get along.

'Now lets shake our hands.' i told her and i extended my hand to shake hers. When i shook her hand i felt a electricity and sparks. My wolf started saying Mate.Mate.Mate.Mate while i gasp and look at Summers eyes widely, she look at me confused too...For sure she felt it too.

And then I remembered what Trent said 'You are close in finding her. No, you already found her but you don't know that its her since something blocking it.' His right, but why is it that i can't smell her scent that everyone keep saying when they found their mate. Where's the intoxicating scent? Do i have problem with my nose?

She smells human to me...no fragrance just human scent. Thats weird, everyone have distinguished scent... But when i touched her hand it feels like i was being pulled to her especially when i look at her eyes..Those midnight black eyes, they share the same color as my wolf color.

'Whooah. Did you feel that, their was like a electricity when we touch.' she said amused and then she let of my hand and i feel empty but then she grab my hand again. 'Weird...But awesome.' she continued while i look at her bewildered and amused in her reaction.

Now that i found my mate i can be the Alpha but I can't just say it yet, if I told them that my mate is a human it will a cause a problem..Not like i care, it's their problem not mine...What's important is i found my mate and if they will not accept her then I'll make them. But how am i supposed to tell this girl that she's my mate.

I look at Summer...She keeps playing with my hand by letting it go then grabbing it back again.

Wow. Her hands are warm I want to hug her right now, pull her beside me and cradle her in my lap while she rest her head in my chest. Wow. That sounds great. Then i suddenly froze when she lick my hand.. Did she just lick my hand? I look at her and for sure my eyes are dark right now; desire, i want to kiss her but i stop myself even though my wolf is begging me to mark her already here. No. Not in this kinds of place. It should be somewhere special. Fucking mate bond!

She look at me and smiled shippishly. 'Hehe, sorry.' she said and she let go of my hand and smiled widely at me showing her perfect smile and she grab my hand again.
