Chapter 16: Reality Jump Part I

A few days later...
We find ourselves with Goku and Vegeta from the Super timeline followed by the story from Dragon Ball Super: Broly...

Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Whis we're on their way to the Ice Continent to recover the Seven Dragon Balls...

On arrival, they were met with Broly, his father Paragus and Frieza...

And also a Masked person...

Broly started fighting with Vegeta and then with Goku...

However...

Here's where the story starts to distance itself from the original...

In the distance from the mountains...Vegeta notices the Masked figure next to Frieza and Paragus...

He moves in to attack...

And the Masked figure complies!

They both start fighting.

Frieza: "So you put it on the other one too?"

Paragus: "Yes Lord Frieza, I can control both of them with my remote if they ever disobey!"

"Good." Frieza replied.

Meanwhile...

Vegeta: *thinks* "Why does his fighting style seem so familiar to me?"

Vegeta then gets serious.

Unleashing all of his power in the form of Super Saiyan Blue!

The masked figure seems surprised at this sight and starts to lose his ground...

Vegeta manages to knock off the mask of the figure only to reveal John?!

John: "I don't wanna fight you...frankly, I know who you are Vegeta..."

Vegeta: "That's pretty obvious since you've been hanging around with Frieza and these weaklings... don't try to fool me! I alone can defeat Frieza and the other 2 Saiyans! Including you."

John: "That's the thing Vegeta...I've been forced to train with Broly and I've seen him quite a few times in combat before...he's a Saiyan that quickly adapts to his opponent...he's a Saiyan too dangerous to the whole universe..."

Vegeta starts to believe John but only slightly then John gets shocked through his neck collar by Paragus.

Paragus: "YOU'RE HERE TO KILL THEM NOT SOCIALIZE NOW GET TO WORK!!!!!"

Vegeta: "Hmph...seems as though believing you wouldn't be such a good idea..."

Goku in the distance shouts: "I MIGHT NEED YOUR HELP VEGETAAAAA!!!!"

Vegeta: "This other idiot..."

He starts flying but is then stopped mid-air by John now blocking his way with the intention of fighting.

Vegeta quickly dodges his attack and almost immediately notices how since the start and finish of John's punch he's already a Super Saiyan 3!!!!

Vegeta starts to think that in order for a Saiyan to go that far must've taken quite a while...

He goes all out anyway...

He gut punches John and he faints quickly showing off how big the gap between Vegeta's power is from John's...

Broly whilst fighting Goku goes absolutely berserk and transforms into a Super Saiyan?!

Goku and Vegeta are inevitably outmatched...

Then...the female known as Chelai sneaks very fast and steals the remote that Paragus used to shock John as well as the one for Broly...

This means that John can now go all out without having to impress Paragus or Frieza...

He sees his opportunity and takes it!!
Thus, leaping forward to help Goku and Vegeta.

Goku: "Wait! Don't I know you from somewhere?"

"You sure do Goku..." John replied.

John: "Listen guys...I'll hold him off! Goku, go to Piccolo with Vegeta and teach him the Fusion Dance!!"

Goku: *Thinks* "Woah! How does he know my plan?"

"GOO!!!!" John shouts.

Goku and Vegeta then leave for Vegeta to learn the Fusion technique.

John: "I'm one of your only friends Broly... you gotta believe me!!!! Snap out of it!!!"

Paragus went to reach for John's remote but Frieza stopped him from trying and said: "Let your boy have fun!"

Broly then starts raging and screaming and grabs John and starts throwing him around! Super Saiyan 3 seems useless at this point now...and even running away seem pointless...

John thinks of a plan...

John: *thinks* "Thanks to the Time Nest I learned of Majin Vegeta's Final Explosion or whatever it's called...it's my only shot at actually hurting this guy and weakening him for Gogeta..."

Will John's plan prevail? Will he actually buy enough time for Vegeta and Goku to fuse and show up?
