A  D I F F E R E N T   S I G H T

The sea breeze
of an ominous night,

Dark and dreary to others,

But peace and comfort to
a different sight,

The reflecting moonlight
shining like a blessing,

For lone paths of
blanketed darkness,

And the underwater fishes
silent as if resting,

For the new day of
unleashed brightness,

The waves crash, slinking past with splashes of water,

A cold spray of disease to others,

But a gold spray of ease
to a different sight,

The wry cry of the wild waves,

Oh how it wished to envelope
and then throw out,

An experience of tremors
to the others,

But a new life to
a different sight.

The others wallowed
in their hollows,

Looking for
attention and pessimism,

The different sight
swallowed its sorrows,

Looking for
retention and optimism.

This image is the one I sketched out... When thinking about this poem... She's on a ship dock.... Staring at vast sea at night... And continue the poem...
