Every time I try to fly I fall
Without my wings
I feel so small
I guess I need you baby
And every time I see
You in my dreams
I see your face
It's haunting me
I guess I need you baby*

It's officially the middle of June and it's a little spicy outside. I am completely healed and able to do whatever I want. I have made plenty of mistakes in the last month. Like two weeks after getting released, I had sex with Matteo a lot but then we fell off. I didn't get upset again, I just let it go.
I walk into the dining room with a Nike sports bra and spandex. Everyone looks at me and I ignore their gazes. I sit in my seat and the food gets passed around.
"You're glowing, Mimma," my mother says.
I shrug. "We have an event tomorrow night. You can dress however you want except in what you're wearing now," my mom adds.
I nod. It goes quiet again as we eat our dinner. The forks scrap the plates as we eat whatever this is. Wine and water are sitting in front of us.
"So have you picked what you wanted to do and the university you want to go to?" Leo asks.
"I'm not going to tell you the university but I am going to be a public defender, prosecutor, or a teacher. One of those for sure," I reply.
"Good money," Leo replies.
I nod. We finish dinner and I go outside to the garden. I walk through the rows of flowers. "Andy," Matteo's voice fills the air.
Did I forget to mention that Matteo and his family literally live right behind us? Like maybe a football field away from us. He comes when he pleases literally.
"Yes, Matteo?" I ask as I look at him.
"I'm not here for sex, I promise, I just wanted to know when you were leaving for university," Matteo says.
"Why?" I ask as I cross my arms over my chest.
"Because how am I going to protect you if I don't know where you are going?" Matteo asks.
"I'm not yours, Matteo. When I leave, I'm gone for a while and I probably won't think about you or even mention you to anyone. I'm just your playtoy," I reply.
"You're more than just that, Andy. I want you to be more than that but you are leaving and I definitely don't do long distance," Matteo replies.
I shake my head. "I'm cutting ties when I leave here and might reconnect when I get back," I reply.
"Come on, Andy," Matteo murmurs.
"Listen, Matteo, I can't do this, okay," I state. "I'm too far gone now."
"What do you mean?" Matteo asks.
Thunder and lightening booms and stretches across the sky as rain pours down on top of us. Rain soaks our bodies as we stand there. Matteo walks to me and gazes down at me. The rain comes down harder, almost blinding me.
"Matteo, I-" Matteo pulls me to him and kisses me. His hands grab my waist as I wrap my arms around his neck.
Matteo pulls away from me. I take a deep breath. "I caught feelings for you, Andy. I don't want you to go if you don't tell me where you are going," Matteo states.
"Why? You know nothing about me. You don't know the basics about me, Matteo," I reply.
"I know, but I can get to know you," Matteo whispers.
