I didn't like the look the male was giving me. It reminded me of a hawk honing in on its prey, about to make the killing blow. I inwardly shiver.

"I have a request. I just landed in a new world, and I'm tired. Can I take a break from the interrogations?" I ask and cross my arms, every inch of me demanding respect.

Aelin opened her mouth but the male nods at me before silencing Aelin with a look. She snarls back and then pouts.

"Rowan. Dinner is in an hour, but I'll see you to a guest room before someone gets you for dinner," Rowan says introducing himself, and then inclines his head at me, an invitation to follow. I follow and when he shows me a room I don't hesitate to collapse onto the bed and let myself break down for a little bit.

A servant retrieves me so we can go to dinner. I comb my fingers through my hair and brush of the dress I've been wearing since this morning. Ever since I gave birth to Kai I haven't lost my sense of looking well kempt, I just don't care as much. Let people think what they think. I'm a working mother and help keep my court stable.

The servant leads me to a great dining room and I sit at the table with the others. I see Dorian sitting across from Rowan, seated left and right to the head of the table. Then there are two other males I don't recognize. Both are tall and muscular but that must have been their only similarities because they couldn't be more different. The dark one obviously was pouting and the golden one couldn't stop teasing him about it. I smirk, they almost remind me of Azriel and Cassian. Almost.

Just then the door to the dining room bang open and everyone turns to stare at Aelin who entered the room, illuminated by a crown of fire atop her brow.

"Aelin if you keep kicking the doors open like that they'll need to be replaced, again," Rown comments.

"But I couldn't waste this opportunity for a dramatic entrance!" Aelin says pointedly.

"You do it a least three times a week. It's not as dramatic," the dark pouting male says. Aelin flicks him off and the tips of his hair catch on fire. He growls and puts the fire out.

"Who's the newcomer?" the golden male inquires, lifting his eyebrows at me.

"Off limits to you. I happen to be mated and a mother," I retort crossing my arms.

"HA! She just shut you down Fenrys!" Aelin laughs as she seats herself at the head of the table. Fenrys loses his smirk and slouches slightly.

"Can we just eat now?" the dark warrior grumbles.

"Oh shut it Lorcan Lochan. You're just here because of my good graces. Remember Elide isn't done punishing you yet for acting like a mother hen around her all the time," Aelin chides, pointing a finger at the dark warrior. I snort in laughter. I happen to know another mother hen myself. Lorcan pouts some more and grumbles to himself.

We start to help ourselves to food and eat in silence before Aelin shifts to look at me. "So Feyre, care to explain how you arrived here today?" she asks sarcastically.

"Must I repeat myself?" I joke. Aelin snorts and waves a hand in the air.

"I arrived today after my sister was experimenting with marks, or as Aelin said, Wyrdmarks," I explain.

"No shit," Fenrys huffs. "Really?" I nod.

"Yes. She transported me from my world into yours. But we don't have the book we used and Nesta ran off into the woods," I continue. "I just want to go home."

"Well, we'll help you, on one condition," Aelin starts.

"What?" I ask rushedly.

"You have to tell us more about your world."

"Oh, that's simple. In my world us Fae live together in Prythian. The Fae are split up into seven different courts, Spring, Autumn, Winter, Summer, Day, Dawn, and Night. Then there is Hybern and the human lands as well," I explain.

"Why do are they all separate?" Rowan asks.

"Well, the humans don't get along well with the Fae at all. In fact, a great wall used to separate us, but it was torn down in the last war, which was about a year ago," I answer.

"War?" Lorcan says, looking up from his plate of untouched food. I nod.

"Yes. After, after the events of the Blight and Under the Mountain there was a war against the King of Hybern. There were a lot of sacrifices made during those times," I say, my voice drifting off as I recall the memories, and the feeling of me and Rhys dying. I shiver at the thought.

Rowan and Aelin share a look gave give me a smile that says everything. They've been through a lot too, and in ways are still recovering. As I look down the table I see they all are. Dorian has a far off look in his eyes, Fenrys smile is wavering and false, and Lorcan isn't looking anyone in the eye. We share a moment of silence before Rowan asks me another question.

"How come your scent is faintly human?"

"I was wondering the same. Have you Settled recently?" Aelin gives me a strange look, raising her eyebrows.

"I'm not sure what settling is, but I was human for the first nineteen years of my life until I was Made into a High Fae," I explain, answering their questions.

"How can someone be made into a Fae? Is that even possible?" Dorian asks, then looks at Aelin and me, confused.

"Well in my world it's possible. You can be Cauldron Made, like my sisters, or be Made when the seven High Lords give a kernel of their power to someone, like me," I answer, thinking about how Nesta and Elain and I were all Made.

"Why were you Made?" Lorcan asks sarcastically. Fenrys shoot him a look but I turn to answer him.

"My sisters were forced into the Cauldron against their will to prove to the queens of the human territories that they could become immortal," I answer, my tone dark.

"And you?" Dorian says, leaning forward.

"I was Made from the High Lords because I died."

"Holy shit, how?" Fenrys breathes.

I practically spit out the words, "Amarantha. That sadistic bitch. Luckily my mate convinced, well honestly bent the High Lords minds into helping me."

"Your mate is a Daemita?" Rowan practically hisses.

"Yes. He saved-" I start to say but Aelin cuts me off.

"You died!" she gasps. "What was it like.

"My mate know the answer to that question better than me. He was dead longer," I answer. This time Dorian joins Fenrys as they gasp.

Thanks to all my 21 anonymous readers so far. This is my first fanfic, and I don't remember everything about TOG or ACOTAR perfectly so feel free to correct me and my spelling if I'm wrong.

Thanks for your support so far. I didn't think I'd even make it this far. :)
