Credence joined Grindelwald, but he did not want to be there. He just wanted to know who he was and get out of there. One day walking through the mansion he discovers that Grindelwald is holding a prisoner in the castle and Credence is very worried...
Since I received those information about my identity my state has been more confused. Grindelwald told me who I am, said my name and gave me an identity. He told me a little about my older brother, Albus Dumbledore and that I should kill him, but I do not want to do that... I just want to get out of here. I was walking through the mansion when I see two very important followers of Grindelwald coming out of a door that stood there. That made me very intrigued and curious. I waited for them to walk away and went to the door and went inside. It was a very large corridor. I walked through it until I came to a place full of cells that made me feel a very bad and uncomfortable shiver down my spine. I was leaving when I heard a groan of pain... and the voice was familiar to me. No... it could not be! Despair took over my body and my hands began to tremble. I walked quickly as the sound was coming, it was in a cell far away. When I got to the cell what I feared was right in front of me: Nagini was there, all bruised and she had a chain holding her left leg.
— N-Nagini. I called her stammering, feeling the crying in my throat. She looked up quickly.
— Credence! It's you! She said trying to get up but not getting because of the current. I knelt down in front of the cell and stretched my arms into the cell. Nagini managed to crawl a little closer to the bars. I held his face in my hands and wiped the blood from her face. I couldn't hold the cry anymore. — I'm so sorry, Nagini. This is my fault. I said feeling tears stream down my face. I felt her grip the sleeves of my shirt, she held tight.
— Credence... She started to say but I didn't let her finish. — Nagini I know what you're going to say so you can stop! I said a little rude.
— It was my fault! You're here because of me! Grindelwald wants to make sure I stay on his side. I said nervously. She's here because Grindelwald wants to make sure I'm staying on his side, for what other reason would he kidnap her. — Credence please calm down. She asked with tears in her eyes. I took a deep breath and managed to calm myself down.
— How long have you been stuck here? I asked wiping away her tears. — One month. A blonde woman often comes here to tell me how much time has passed. She's nice to me... different from the other woman. Nagini said still holding the sleeve of my shirt. She was here all this time... It's been two months since that rally! And if she was here all this time, it meant that Grindelwald was planning to kidnap her from the start. I nodded and started to check that cell to see if it had any loose bars.
— I'll get you out of here Nagini! I said as I pushed the metal bars. — Credence... I need to tell you something. Nagini said with a worried look. I stopped checking the bars and looked into her eyes. She held my hand delicacy. She was about to start saying something when we heard a noise near the entrance. I was alarmed.
— Credence you need to get out of here! She said quickly. — Not! I'm not going without you! I... I'm going to use the Obscurus! I can control, I'll open these bars and I'll---
— No! If it is one of his followers they will tell Grindelwald that you were here he can kill you! She said crying. — Please go back there. I just could start crying again.
— I will come back! I'll come back and I'll take care of you... And I'll get you out of here, I promise. I said caressing her face one last time and with difficulty I get out near of her and went back where I had entered and ran to my room. I just wanted to scream, I wanted to end it all and take Nagini away. But I couldn't do it with hot-headed, otherwise Grindelwald could do something bad for Nagini. Then I sighed and took some scrolls and a feather that Miss Goldstein had given me and I began to write a letter.
Dear Mr. Scamander, Hello... This is Credence... Yes I'm... I want to apologize for what I did. I'm sorry to have let you down, for disappointed Miss Tina, disappointed Nagini... I know you are angry with me and you don't have to forgive me, after all I don't deserve it. But I need your help. Grindelwald kidnapped Nagini a month ago. She is in a terrible state. I need help getting her out of here, I need your help. Please, Mr. Scamander, save her... please!
When I finished writing I doubled the letter and went to the Phoenix and tied the letter in its paw safely.
— Please take this to Newt Scamander. I said softly stroking his head. Once Grindelwald told me that Fenix is very clever and that she could find the one I needed. The bird poked at me and flew out of the window, disappearing into the horizon.
— You are my only hope of help.
