Do you know these days where you don't want to interact with anyone? It's not a thing that happened, you just feel like shutting down any and everything around. Just listening and agreeing to what comes from people's mouths. You just zone into your own world. Everyone deserves to shut down a little.

I've managed not to punch anyone in the past two periods. I don't even know why I'm this moody today; it's just not getting enough sleep. I slipped into my seat silently, trying to block the talking. Mr. Lawrence entered the class, smiling.

"Class," He clapped his hands, gaining attention.

"Enough with the talking, you have plenty of time to do that at lunch. Anyway, how far did you go into your projects." That's when I noticed Tyler wasn't sitting in his usual seat next to me.

He discussed some points stopping people from completing their projects. I just rested my head in palms, looking like listening carefully, but in reality I was watching the clock's arrows above the board ticking, signalling we were nearing lunch.

Halfway through the period someone knocked on the door. I turned my head to look at the door.

"Mr. Banks, how kind of you to join us." Mr. Lawrence spoke, earning chuckles from the class.

Tyler muttered an apology and hurried to his seat next to me. He plopped down, releasing a breath.

I tore a paper from my notebook, asked him where was he and passed it to him. I watched him writing on the paper and passed it to me, but I didn't need to read it; I read it while he wrote.

'Got held up.'

I was hoping for a longer answer, but then again, it's Tyler.

Finally the bell rang and I was more than happy. I felt my moodiness lessen a little, not fully, but I'm not on the I-want-to-punch-someone stage.

"You look grumpy." Tyler said from behind me.

"You should feel what I feel." I sighed.

I ate silently listening to Carly talking about some new bag she bought. Tyler was sat next to me, picking at his food. I'm starting to like the idea of him sometimes sitting with our group. I looked at Tyler, he was moving a tomato around his plate. I wanted to say something, anything. I wanted him to talk about anything, I don't even know why. I looked at him again and smiled a little when he looked my way laughing about something said.

In the corner of my eye I saw April approaching us with Sophia by her side. She sat next to me, leaving Sophia to sit with her friends.

"So you're friends now?" I asked.

"Not really." She shook her head, laying her bag infront of her.

"It appears to be that." I pressed.

"She started talking to me in English."

"Right." I nodded.

I seriously don't know why I'm like this today. It's like I can't take anyone or any action done infront of me. After a few minutes I excused myself, puhsing my chair back, April and Tyler looked at me but I just walked. By the time I reached class, the bell rang signalling lunch was over. I sat in my usual seat, April came after shortly. We just sat in silence waiting for history to begin.

I pushed the door open, thankful the day was almost over. I passed the living room, Jessica was on the couch watching some abc family series. I watched my feet as they walked on every step on the floral carpeted stairs, I was more than exhausted.
