Seol travelled along
the streets of Seoul,
chin tilted high,
small smile with delight
evident to all.
she couldn't help
how happy Taehyung
made her.
it made her want to
get up in the morning,
seize the day-
not just because
he texted her that
every morning.
she visited the library,
filling up her book bag
and then she walked to a cafe
to enjoy noodles.
on the way,
she spotted someone
she once knew.
Seol noticed
one of the girls from her
high school-
a bully that bullied her.
the past interfered
with the present and
it triggered Seol.
the girl had earphones
in her ears,
hair tangling
as she walked along
the restricted path-
oblivious to Seol,
not being like that at all
in high school.
but Seol's path in life
had changed,
her mindset had too.
which is why she smiled
at her past bully.
