joe's pov

today was the day.....dianne was coming back from australia! i'm honestly so excited, i knew i would miss her but i didn't realise it would be quite that much. she has had such a big impact on my life in the last 4 months, that i've been thinking about our future.

i had my suit on ready to go to where i was presenting new years eve with stacey, dianne was going home first to freshen up and then meeting me there.

"joe!" stacey called rushing over to give me a hug

"stace! how have ya been?" i asked returning the hug

"good good, looking forward to seeing lady di?"

"yes, i've missed her so much"

"i can tell, listen i'll try and distract you so the time doesn't go by too slowly. how about we go out for some late lunch?" she asked

"yeah sure"

dianne's pov

i had asked stacey to distract joe because my plane was actually getting in a few hours earlier than i said. i was going home first to get ready and then i was making my way over to the venue. i had planned to be waiting in his dressing room when he got back from lunch. i couldn't wait!

finally i was ready and made my way over to the venue, thanking the security guard who let me in and made my way to joe's dressing room. i entered the room and saw joe's bag neatly on the side, i didn't know how long he'd be so i just waited for him on the chair.

joe's pov

"we best be off then" stacey said literally as soon as we'd finish lunch

"you got something to get back to?" i laughed

"hahah no, just nervous for tonight" she said, something was definately up. she was never like this on strictly, even in the final.

"uhh ok, let's go then"

we made our way back to the venue, stacey kept trying to make some awkward conversation. and then when we arrived, she made a big thing about me going to my dressing room before anything else.

i opened my room to find...

"dianne!" i exclaimed, shock coming over me

"oh my god, joe!" she squealed rushing over to give me a hug, i instantly hugged back and then gave her a kiss as we pulled away

"oh baby, i've misesed you so much" i said pulling her in for another kiss

"i've missed you too" she said, kissing me between each word

"hey stacey" she said once we had finished kissing...for now

"lady di! so sweet to see you to reunited, the sparkle is back in joe's eyes already" she exclaimed, making me blush almost as bright dianne's hair.

"staceee" i rolled my eyes at her for making me blush so much

"anyways, i'll let you two catch up! see you later guys"

we were alone

"honestly di, that was the longest 10 days of my life" i said kissing her again and again

"me too joseph, let's never do that again" she replied, pulling me towards the couch and sitting on top of me resuming our kissing session.

"3" I placed my hands on dianne's cheek and waist

"2" I looked into her eyes

"1" I lent forward

"happy new year!" everyone shouted, we kissed

"will you move in with me?" i asked, this seem like a better time than ever

"omg joe! yes!" she exclaimed bringing me in for another passionate kiss
