Joe and Dianne One Shots

joe's pov

"he's so perfect, di you are amazing" i said, looking down at my amazing wife and son, thinking about the special moments in these last 9 months.

flashback

"di, are you ready yet?" i called up the stairs

"joe! do not rush me, we still have 45 minutes till we have to be at the appointment." she shouted back. she appeared 10 minutes later to see me pacing up in down the hallway getting more nervous by the second.

"relax joseph" she said kissing me cheek softly, i nodded taking a second to breath

"ready?"

"ready"

"everything is looking healthy, did you guys want to find out the gender?"

"yes please" di said, i squeezed her hand gently as we were waiting to find out.

"it's a boy, congratulations! i've printed out 4 ultrasounds, i'll give you two some privacy" she said walking out to get the copies

"a boy joseph!" she exclaimed, tears running down her face

"we're gonna have a son!" i kissed all over dianne's face

"aww a mini joe sugg"

"i can't wait" she replied, joining our hands together and putting them on her bump

flashback over

2nd flashback

"joe, i have less than a month left and we still need to pick out a name"

"it'll come to us when he's born babe"

"yeah but i want to have some names picked out joe"

"alright my love, let's have a look"

"first though, do we want the name to be dedicated to any family members?" i wondered, trying to eliminate some options.

"would it be bad if i said no? i want our baby to have its own unique name"

"nah, i was thinking the same"

"ok let's both have a look and write down the names we like and then we can come up with the shortlist together" she said

a short while later and we had found 4 each.

"so the names i like best are, joshua, cameron, leo and noah." dianne said

"i have noah too! along with jacob, lucas and liam, now we'll decide which are out favourites"

"i really love noah and i think it would be a good first name, i was wondering if maybe we could pick an italian name for the middle name?" she said

"yes of course baby, i think that's a good idea. we can look at italian names togethe. let's still make a shortlist incase when he's born we change our minds. so my favourites are cameron and liam along with noah of course"

"ok, i've just realised we can't call the baby joshua!" she said laughing

"oh gosh, i forgot about josh....oops" i said and she playfully pushed me

"i agree with you on the names, now let's get looking at italian names!" she said all excitedly

30 minutes later

"joeeee, i can't find any i like" she moaned laying her head on my shoulder, i kissed her cheek before telling her my idea.

"i've found a name but i don't know if you'll like it, it's just there's a story behind it. it's totally fine if you don't like it though, i mean you're the one pushing him out at th-" she shut me up by deeply kissing me.

"joey, i'm sure i'll like it, stop worrying so much" she said kissing my cheek gently

"sorry...i was wondering emilio? remember when you were teaching me the jive and you said you had a daughter called emilia, i was just thinking about it because it's when we properly bonded. i mean, i thought you were amazing before but when you pranked me then, i just knew we'd be best friends." i turned to her and saw a tear running down her cheek.

"joseph graham sugg, you are the cutest and most thoughtful person ever. i love it"

2nd flashback over

"joe?" dianne said bringing me back into the current moment.

"huh?" i said looking a bit dazed

"you wanna hold him?"

"yes of course, di he's so beatiful" i said

"i know and he has your perfect blue eyes" she said, tears running down her face, i kissed her gently as well our newborn son.

"dianne, joe, do you have a name?" i look beside me at dianne who nodded at me.

"noah emilio sugg"

a/n: i'm sorry i don't update frequently, i only really do this when i have time or an idea pops in my head. i'm not entirely sure if i'm going to carry on with my other joanne book but if i do i'm probably going to write the rest of the chapters in advance and then post one everyday. sorry if this one shot is a bit all over the place, i started it a while ago and then as i was finishing it just now i completly changed my mind. comment/vote if you can xx
