I found inspiration for King in Exile in J.R.R. Tolkien's books. The idea came to me when I realized that I didn't know what happened to the Dwarves of Erebor after the attack of Smaug. So I did a lot of research and decided to write a fanfiction. If you have not read them, I definitely recommend reading The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
Again, this is my first fanfiction, and I would appreciate some feedback. Tell me what you think!
