Ok so today is the day, i'm finding out whether i'm going to have a little girl or boy. I don't really mind which one i have, as long as they are healthy thats all i care about. Dianne has arranged the reveal party for us, we have no idea what is going to happen.
As soon as we were ready we left our house and headed over to joannes house. Once we got there we noticed that are families were already there. For amber it was her siblings and there children as most of her family is in australia, but her parents were on facetime. For me it was tilly, my dad, his wife and kids. I was so happy that they came.
Dianne lead us to a box that was set up in the living room.
"ok so when you open the box balloons will come out, the colour will tell you the gender"
Me and amber took a side each of the box and opened it, out came pink and blue balloons.
"i'm confused"
"your having twins" Dianne shouted
Austin and amber made eye contact, they ran over to eachother jumping into eachothers arms.
"your having a mini me and you"
My dad ran over to me pulling me into a massive hug,
"i can't believe my boy is having twins, i'm such a proud dad"
"and soon to be Grandad"
My little sisters ran over to me shortly followed by my little brother, they were all so excited to have a niece and nephew on the way. They are going to be young Aunties and uncle but i have no doubt that they will be amazing. Lisa made her way over to me and pulled me into a hug,
"i'm very proud of you noah, you've done so well for yourself considering how little support you had growing up. Your the best step son i could have asked for"
"thank you lisa"
I then turned to look at tilly, she had the biggest smile on her face. I ran over to her and pulled her into a massive hug.
"mum i'm having twins"
"i know noah, there going to be amazing children"
Oh yeah i forgot to tell you guys, about 3 months after tilly adopted me when i was back in year 7 i decided to start calling tilly mom. She had acted like more of a mum to me than my actual mum ever has, plus she adopted me so she is one to me.
I looked over at amber to see her chatting away with her parents, she looked so happy. Dianne and joe made there way over to me,
"well noah, i never thought i'd say this but thank you for getting my little sister pregnant"
All three of us burst into laughter
"ok Dianne your gunna have to explain that a bit for me"
"what i mean is ive never seen her so happy, its like children is what she needed to make her complete"
I couldn't help but smile at them, we had a little group hug before i asked to speak to joe.
We walked into joe and diannes kitchen,
"you alright kiddo"
Even after years, and Me being an adult he still calls me that. I like it though.
"yeah just a bit concerned and i had a question to ask you"
"whats being a dad like, tiring but rewarding"
"surprisingly that wasnt my question"
"oh ok, What is it then"
"its about amber, because shes pregnant shes had to stop taking both of her medications. I'm worried about her, her nightmares are happening basically every night and i'm still not the best at dealing with them, i was wondering and its ok if you say no but whether we could stay with you guys till shes allowed to go back on them. You know how to calm her down the best and quickest, and i know that stress can be dangerous for the babies"
"of course you can stay. As long as you need noah, your family ok"
"thank you"
Dianne walked in the room and looked at me,
"come here"
She walked over to me with her arms open wide, i Gave her a hug.
"shes going to be ok noah i promise, i heard everything she'll get through this. She always has, its just harder now"
"i know i just want her to be ok, i hate seeing her upset and i'm so annoyed that i struggle to help her"
"Noah even i can't calm her down, the only person i know that can calm her down is joe. Shes always strangely been close to joe, ive never really known why though"
"oh I do"
"well suggy what is it"
"i promised her i would never say"
"when did you do that"
"15 years ago when she was 9 years old. Dianne do you remember that day where amber had her first therapist appointment and me and her went out before to clear her head."
"yeah?"
"well when we was having a little cupcake and smoothie she opened up to me, told me the biggest secret ever. Ive sworn i would never tell anyone unless she is ok with it"
"whos ok with what?" Amber asked walking into the room
Joe ran over to amber and whispered something to them, she nodded at him before leaving the room.
He came back over to us smiling.
"i'm allowed to tell you guys but she has asked me to make you promise you won't tell anyone"
"i promise"
"ok the reason she trusts me so much is because i remind her of her brother"
"what austin?"
"no.... Freddy"
"whos Freddy"
"her older brother, hes mine and diannes age"
"the twins have an older brother"
"yeah, he was shipped off to bording school when their mum passed away and they haven't seen him since"
"oh my god, has austin said anything?"
"no, i guess he might not remember they were 3 when he left"
"i guess so"
"All i know about him is that his name is freddy lucas, and he is 31 years old"

(before you guys get confused on his last name, that was the twins last name before Diannes parents i.e. the buswells adopted them, they got there last name changed once they had been adopted)

"oh and i know that amber still misses him, ive been trying to trace him for about 6 months now"
"any luck?"
"actually yes, ive found a guy that has the same name and age but i don't want to tell amber in case its not him"
"don't then, you meet with him and then ask him some questions to help work out if its him"
"and if it is then i tell her?"
"if it is message me and see if he wants to come surprise her, I'll keep her in the house all day"
"ok will do, now i just have to arrange a day to meet up"
"while you do that i'm gunna run home quick and grab some things for us to stay here, are you sure you don't mind"
"Noah, shes my little sister of course i don't mind i want to make sure she is safe and ok"
"thank you guys so much"

I hope you guys liked this chapter, next chapter i'm going to have it in mostly joes perspective and a little of ambers.

And i do apologise for not getting out chapters everyday at the moment, i'm still a bit ill so i'm just sort of uploading when i can.
