Chapter 28

'Don't you dare! I did this for you, for us Ron!' Lavender screamed as she pointed at the red head in the stand across from her as Ron shook his head.

'You did that for yourself! I never asked you to hurt Mione!' He screamed, veins popping out either side of his temple as he threw his arms in the air and huffed loudly.

'ENOUGH!' Harry's voice echoed more loudly and angrily around the room as both Lavender and Ron went quiet.

Hermione and Draco sat there with there fingers entwined through one another's as they watched the screaming match go back and forth between Lavender and Ron.

But what Hermione hadn't expected was for Ron to apologise directly to them, and he sounded and even looked genuine.

That had really set Lavender off, that's when she had gotten to her feet and began screaming directly at Ron.

Harry was able to speak again as Ginny leant over to Hermione.

'Where's the damn popcorn when you need some!' She whispered with a smile as Hermione half grinned and lifted a finger up to the middle of her lips to shush her friend.

'Lavender Brown, I hereby charge you with assault, intent to cause harm and the death of a foetus!' Harry said as Lavender spluttered in disbelief and tried to argue but Harry just kept talking with his wand pointed to his throat.

'You are therefore stripped of your wand, and banished from the wizarding world!' Harry finished as Lavender screamed 'WHAT!' Before bursting into tears.

Harry sat back down as Kingsley Shacklebolt stood and put his wand against his throat as he began speaking.

'Ronald Weasley. I hereby charge you with assault, unintentionally causing harm. You will not be able to be an Auror for a period of two years and six months, and will serve a suspended Azkaban sentence of six months provided you attend anger management classes for a period of one year!'

'That's fair.' Ron replied sadly as he looked over at Hermione who was resting her head on Draco's shoulder.

'This court is dismissed!' Kingsley finished.

November 30.

The next three weeks passed by rather quickly. After Ron and Lavender's trial, Lavender had been stripped of her wand and had been given at least $10,000 in muggle money to get her started in the outside world and had been shipped out of the wizarding world like she was a dirty shoe.

No one had heard from her since that day but rumours were circling around the wizarding world that she had run into another former Hogwarts student and was living with him.

Truth was yet to be confirmed though as officials had been sent to investigate but couldn't find any sign of Lavender or one Colin Creevey anywhere, thy were still searching.

Ron had been released off his tracking device and had decided to travel to America before starting his anger management in a month.

The Ministry has granted him permission only after consulting with Hermione and Draco on the matter. Draco of course was living but Hermione had finally convinced him that it
meant Ron would be out of the country and away from them for a while, which Draco finally agreed to.
