Hi guys! Sorry I was gone for a while I was just so caught up in my new story "the beat up gang" that I almost forgot about this one! 🤣 Anyway I promised this would be the next thing I publish so here it is! Enjoy!
The day had finally come. The day Webby would leave the hospital. She felt a whole mix of emotions; happy, overjoyed, frightened, surprised. She was happy she was leaving this prison that she had been in for what felt like forever. But, was she really ready for the real world? She didn't want to feel the same pain she did in the past month. She couldn't go through that again She couldn't do that to herself, more Importantly, she couldn't do that to her family. She knew how hurt they were when they saw she almost died. She knew how happy they were when they saw her make it out of the final test. She couldn't break their hearts. Not again.
the triplets wheeled Webby to the front of the hospital where she stared out the doors as they signed her out. "Here we go." She whispered to herself. Butterfly's flew around in her stomach like a hurricane. This was it. The thing she had wanted all month but now that she was at the gates of heaven, she didn't know if she was ready. Was she ready for this? Was she ready to face reality again? Thoughts crowded her mind. She still remembered when the boys towered over her. Although she had amnesia then, she doesn't have it now. All the things they said. They were all true. All she ever does is make trouble. She's worse than Louie. Wow. What had she become? The moment she steps out the door of the Manor. The moment she tries to fulfil her dream. Her destiny. She messed it up. Typical Webby. She became a young adventurer, but she messed that up. She made a best friend in Lena, but she messed that up too.:And she thought she was a part of the boys family. But she was wrong. They didn't need her. Even dewey turned against her. Why can't she just be..................normal? Like all the other kids. All she ever does is get the boys into trouble. And now she got herself into trouble. Causing pain to not just herself but also those around her. Webby's thoughts were interrupted. "Webby? Webby are you okay?" Dewey asked. Why did he care? He was right and he knows it. Webby got them into this whole mess. Webby just nervously laughed. "Haha. Yeah just......just thinking." Before Dewey could respond the doctor came over and leaned down to Webby, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Please. Stay safe. A young girl like you should not be adventuring, especially now that your like this." The doctor stood up and looked over at the adults. Donald, Mrs. Beakley, Scrooge, Goldie, Panchitos, Jose and Gladstone. Looking at each individual seriously before stating, "keep her safe." All nodded with no hesitation, even Goldie. But hey, girls gotta stick together. Huey walked beside Webby. "You ready Webby?" Webby looked from him to the doors, then back to Huey. "I-I guess." She answered nervously. Louie leant next to her. "Hey." He grabbed Webby's chin softly and pulled her head to look up at his. "We're here for you. You got this." He stated, looking into her eyes. In response, Webby smiled back at him as she looked at the doors and took a deep breathe. "Ok. Let's go." The others wheeled her out of the hospital. When the doors opened it was as if she had seen the sunlight for the first time. Blinding, yet so beautiful. The trees shined. The birds sang. Not a cloud in the sky. What a beautiful day to get out of prison. What a beautiful day to be relieved from your duties of continues testing. She took a deep breathe. Taking it all in as if it was the first time she had ever felt freedom. In a way, it was. The boys noticed the smile on her face and it immediately caused them to smile too. Seeing she was alive. Seeing she was safe. Seeing she was happy. It made them feel warm inside. Nothing bad would ever happen again. They would protect her. With their life, if necessary. The whole ride home Webby couldn't stop staring out the window. At the beauties that were right in front of her all along. The beauties that she never realised she could see here. In her own city. The city she was born and raised in. She had never seen such beauty. Not in any adventure. Her smile never disappeared the whole way home. The smell of the fresh nature air. The feel of of the wind in her hair. The sound of birds chirping. Yes. This was good. She was finally back. Webbigail Vanderquack was back. Refreshed. And better than ever.
When they got home, the boys helped Webby out of the car and in her wheelchair. They wheeled her up to the Manor and stopped right at the door. Wait, what? Why did they stop? "Guys what are you doing?" Webby asked, confused. Why didn't they just go in? Its not like it's someone else's house. Well, it isn't exactly their house but still, it was their uncles house. They lived there. It's not that hard to open a door. Well, for them anyway. Dewey, Huey and Louie leaned down in front of her as the others snuck inside. Not opening the door enough for Webby to see what's going on inside from in front behind the boys. They all had smirks on their faces. "Guys?" Seriously, What could they possibly be doing that's so important? Unless, their all aliens and this is the wrong family. Or aliens abducted her right from the beginning and this was all just a nightmare so that they can feed of her thoughts. But the possibility of that actually happening is at least 20%. Dewey finally spoke. "Webby, don't freak out. There's something waiting for you on the other side of the door. It's a surprise." He put a hand on Webby's shoulder trying to calm her before springing the 'big surprise.' Huey added to what Dewey was saying. "Now don't overreact, okay? Just stay calm." Huey put his hand on her other shoulder. Webby just responded with, "okay?" She was still confused. What was going on? Well whatever it was she knew she couldn't freak out and that it was most likely safe, assuming none of this is actually happening because of aliens. Besides, she owed it to the boys to at least try and act normal, for once. The boys stood up. Huey walked behind the wheelchair pushing her towards the door. Dewey kept his hand on her shoulder as he walked beside her. And Louie slowly pushed the door of the manor open as Webby saw.......................................Well sorry, this chapter was short. I wanted to leave on a cliffhanger and this was the only way I could think of doing it! 🤣 Let me know what you think of it! Have a great day/night! 🤣😋
