BANG!! The teacher slammed the book on the table glaring at each and every duck sitting in the room. "None of you deserved to have good holidays!" She exclaimed. Her eyebrows were dropped and her hands were locked against the desk.
"You deserved to have great holidays!" She smiled brightly and threw her arms in the air as everyone laughed. Typical Mrs Bustier, always playing tricks and making the kids laugh. "Now, I believe we have a new student. Webbigail was it?" Webby smiled brightly and nodded her head. "Would you like to stand up and introduce yourself to the class?" Everyone laughed at this, thinking it was a joke. "Mrs Bustier Webby can't stand! She can't even walk!" A child laughed. All the students, including Max, Alex and Travis giggled as they pointed fingers at Webby, who was sitting at the desk in the middle of the classroom.
Webby looked to her feet and fiddled with her hands. "Oh I'm terribly sorry dear. Shall we get the class started?" Mrs Bustier asked the class as their snickering finally came to a stop. "Yes, Mrs Bustier." They responded in unison. "Take out your books and begin reading chapter 1 of 'the Impossible Case of Amnesia.'" Mrs Bustier instructed as everyone reached in their bags, grabbed out their book and placed it on their desk, all reading the book at their own pace.
Some were fast maniacs who finished the first page in a click of a second.
Some read like normal people and weren't too fast or too slow. Just at the right pace.
Some were really really slow and only just finished the first sentence when everyone was turning to the next page.
Mrs Bustier sat at her desk and pulled out a 'hottie of the month' magazine as she bit her lip and began reading. No one was even sure if she was reading it, or just looking at the pictures.
As Webby was just finishing the first chapter she felt a tap on her shoulder. She finished the sentence she was reading and slowly turned around to see a smirking Travis. "Hey baby cakes." He threw yet another wink at her as she just rolled her eyes and turned back around.
Something about that guy just didn't sit right. The way he treated her. The way he called her.................. 'baby cakes.' It annoyed the duck out of her.
"Hey, can't a guy say hi to his friend?" He asked, quite offended. Webby gave a sigh as she turned back around, putting on the truest smile she could muster, though she didn't really mean it.
"There's that beautiful face." He smirked as he sent another wink her way. Seriously? How many winks does this guy do? Doesn't his eye ever get sore? And why does he only ever do it to her?
"What do you want?" She asked, trying to be as kind as possible. "Can I ask a favour?" He asked with the smirk still plastered across his face. "Umm......sure?" Webby was unsure on how to respond to this. No one had ever asked her to do something before. They always thought she would mess up or get distracted along the way. She was always still fascinated by the 'wonders' of the city of Duckburg. Sometimes, it could get out of hand and if she wanted something she would fight for it.........literally. The boys never trusted her to do something. Scrooge never did. And definitely not her grandmother, she was the one who locked Webby in the mansion her entire life. She was the reason Webby was like this.
"Can you meet me at the back of the school this afternoon? Don't worry, Max and Alex will be there too." Travis pointed to his 'pals' sitting on either side of him as they gave a small wave and they, too, had a smirk plastered across their faces. "Uhh why?" This was getting more awkward by the second. Why did they want to see her? Alone? Well, she assumed it would be alone. The triplets wouldn't be there. would they? "The triplets will be there too." He stated, as if reading her mind. "Oh ok......well......I guess I could g~" Suddenly, the bell rang, signalling second period. "See you this afternoon, baby cakes." Travis winked as he grabbed his bag and left the class, Max and Alex following behind. Webby raised an eyebrow. Why did he want to see her so bad? What was he planning on doing? Hurting her? Murdering her? Oh please! Now that was overreacting. Webby chuckled at the thought. They were three measly boys. She was the strong one out of all of them. Even though she was in a wheelchair, she was still strong, the boys proved that to her when she won a race against them in a wheelchair. She was strong no matter what. And three boys weren't gonna change that. Besides, the triplets would be there, if anything went wrong they would protect her, even though she didn't need it.
* * * * *
School flew by in what seemed like a minute. Webby was at her locker piling her books on each other ready to just end the day. School wasn't the worst day in the world but she wouldn't say it was the best either. "Webby your books are just gonna fall straight back out of your locker when you open it tomorrow, you know that, right?" Huey asked as he raised an eyebrow and smiled at her childishness. "Yeah but I couldn't be bothered to do it neatly. I just wanna get home. I'm so tired!" She exclaimed. Louie walked up to her, laying an arm around her shoulder. "I feel ya' Webs. I feel ya'" he stated, earning a giggle from Webby, Dewey and even Huey.
"Well Uncle Scrooge is here, we'll meet you out the front." Dewey stated, still giggling a little.
"Okay bye!" Webby smiled and waved before all her books came tumbling out of her locker, like and avalanche, and onto her head. "Ow." She stated emotionlessly when out of nowhere Max came and picked up Webby's books, placing them neatly in her locker. "Thanks Max." She smiled. "Yeah whatever." He replied as Alex and Travis came around the corner with, once again, smirks across their faces.
"Hey baby cakes? Forget about our little meeting we were meant to have this afternoon?" Webby facepalmed realising she had forgotten all about the favour she promised Travis. "Oh, sorry I completely forgot, let me just call the triplets back." She made a circle around her mouth with her hands and took a breathe, about to call the triplets when Travis stepped in front. "There's no need to do that." He used one arm to lean against the lockers, still standing right in front of her. Intimidated by this, Webby tried wheeling herself forward, towards where the triplets were heading to the limo. "But~" She heard a familiar voice behind her that cut her off. "But nothing." He spoke. It was Max.
Travis, Max and Alex began closing in on her, all with smirks plastered across their face, bigger than before. "W-What are you doing?" Webby stuttered as she began getting in a fight stance, well, with her hands anyway. "Shh shh baby cakes, it's ok." Travis spoke as he cracked his neck and rolled his shoulder.
Suddenly, Alex and Max grabbed both her arms, lifted her up from her wheelchair and pinned her hard against the lockers. "Ow! Hey what are you doing?!" She yelled as Travis cracked his knuckles for the final time. "This." He stated lowly before holding a fist back and forcing it harshly into her face causing blood to soak from her beak. Alex, Max and Travis laughed at this as Alex touched her bloody beak. "We knew you were weak. We just needed proof and here it is." Alex and Max dropped her limp body as tears began to well in her eyes and the room began to spin. Why would they do that? She thought they were her friends.........weren't they? "One more thing baby cakes." Travis held Webby's chin and directed her eyes to his. "Don't tell anyone about this little meeting or we'll have to schedule another one, got it?" Travis glared at Webby waiting for her response. Webby spoke no words. The words she wanted to speak had flew out the window with her dignity. She nodded slowly as tears slowly began to roll down her face. "There's a good girl." He pat her head and walked back around the corner he came from. Alex and Max smirked at each other before digging their webbed feet into her stomach as hard as they could and high-fiving before walking off laughing. How could they do this to her? She thought they were her friends? Weren't they the boys friends? Of was that just it? The boys were friends with bullies. They knew this would happen. They set it up.
The room span faster as her eyes began to roll in the back of her head. She could taste the blood leaking from her beak. She could feel the marks they left in her stomach. Her eyes rolled in the back of her head for the last time as she fell unconscious.
Heeeyyyyyyyy!!!! I know that wasn't a lot of action but it's still better than nothings, right? Who knew Alex and Max would do that?! How rude! I'm gonna kill them! I mean, I guess I sort of expected something like this from Travis but Alex and Max?! Really?! Alex must be a really good actor because he seemed really nice before, but now.........AAHH IM GONNA KILL THEM!!! *takes deep breathe* okay, you know what? I'll save that for later. 😈 Only a few more chapters to go..................until the next book XD anyway guys don't worry there'll be a lot more action from here on (as you can probably tell, by Alex, Max and Travis) but anyway hope you enjoyed! Please remember to comment and vote! Have a great day/night! ^^
