It was quite an interesting school, to say least. There were many people with their own style of clothing and their own, lets just say.........unique personalities. All in seperate groups avoiding each other like the plague. There was a group who treated their skateboard like their babies. A group who looked like barbie's. A group who obviously went to the gym everyday. A group who haven't showered in probably a year. A group stuck to their technology and finally a group who knew everyone or more commonly known as 'the popular group.'
Webby's eyes lit up as she saw the colourful sign at the front of the school saying, "welcome to the Duckburg National School." Originally she was nervous to even think about school, but the moment she stepped out of the limo and saw all the different and beautiful types of elements of the school, her adrenaline began to rise as she realised this was a chance for her to make finally make friends. Yes, the triplets were her friends but they were like the siblings she never had, she even lived with them! She wanted to be able to have a friend that she saw everyday at school. A friend you could have playdays and sleepovers with! A friend that would stand up to you and always have your back! A friend that you could have complete trust in and a friend that you would never lose! True, she did have trust in the triplets but a while ago, she thought she lost that trust. Was it so hard to ask for a friend that you could put trust in and never lose?
Her eyes scanned the area as she only felt more excited to start the day. The clear cement pathway that ran from the road to the front doors of the school. The glowing grass on either side of the pathway. The chocolate-brown wooden doors that were yet to open for school to start. The red bricks that covered the school and blended perfectly with the white substance that held them together. The country flag on top of the triangular roof and finally, the clear glass windows that you could eat off.
Dewey and Louie rolled their eyes and slumped their shoulders as their nightmares came to life. School. "Another day of child labour." Louie gave an annoyed sigh and began walking down the pathway with the others following behind. Huey, on the other hand, was just as excited as Webby was. Though, he had been here many times before, he loved learning new things. He could use them to his advantage at the Junior Woodchucks and it was just fascinating finding out about the new things in life. His eyes searched the area for his friends as he walked with his shoulder back and his hands on the straps of his backpack.
Finally, Huey's eyes landed on the table his friends were sitting at, which was to the right of the school, where the eating area was. "Hey guys!" He greeted, as the ends of his beak flew upwards and he waved with joy. The four of them rolled their eyes at Huey's joy of school and just laughed it off. "Hey Huey. Hey Dewey. Hey Louie." They all spoke in unison with boredom held in their voices. Dewey and Louie reflected their friends' image, their shoulders were slumped as their fingertips brushed across the floor. Louie and Dewey gave a sigh and spoke in unison, "Hey." They lazily dropped their bags to the floor as they sat at the table with the same look on their faces that they had all morning. Boredom. Dewey looked like he had just got out of bed.
Huey began to introduce them all to Webby, starting with a girl with shoulder-length hair and cloud-white feathers. She sat on the table with her legs hanging over as she rested both elbows on her knees and her hands holding her phone to her face. "This is Kate." Huey stated proudly. "Sup." She responded, looking up from her phone for just a split second before returning her gaze to the blinding screen. Webby smiled brightly and waved her hand next to her head. "Hi!"
Next was the guy who actually sat on the seat like your supposed to. He wore black glasses that went all the way around his eyes and he read a book that was placed neatly on the table. "This is Max." Huey gestured to Max. "Hey." He responded with no emotion, not even bothering to look up from his phone. Rude.
