"Uncles Scrooge I'm telling you she said she'd be here in a minute!" Dewey exclaimed. "Well it's been far more than a minute lad! Look, all I'm suggesting is ye just go check on the lass, is all." Scrooge suggested.

Louie and Huey shared concerned looks for the young girl. She was like a sister to them and they already lost her once...............they couldn't lose her again.

That whole day was a roller coaster of emotions for Webby, Dewey could tell, he knew he swore to protect her but he also knew that she didn't want to be protected. Though, he wasn't just gonna take 'no' as an answer he was going to protect her no matter what she or anyone else said. However, he also knew that she wanted to be left alone. He knew she was going through a lot and needed to work some things out on her own. He's been there. He felt that way with.........his mum. Knowing the truth about her disappearance left him in an emotional state that took a while to overcome but he had help. He had his family. Webby thinks she doesn't have anyone. The only real family she has is Mrs Beakly. No matter how many times they say it, she might never believe she's truely family. She might consider them friends at the least but when she went down in that money bin, her faith went down with her and now it was lost among the endless piles of coins in Scrooge's money bin.

Huey stepped forward before Dewey could snap back at his grumpy old uncle. "Uncle Scrooge I know you wanna protect her, we do too. What happened before scared all of us, not just you, but she's going through a lot right now and it's only been a couple minutes. Give her some time." Huey stated, sympathetically.

Louie stepped forward and stood next to Huey, placing a soft hand on his shoulder. "Yeah and I mean, she could just be going to the bathro~" Suddenly, they heard a loud voice that almost made them jump out of their feathers. This voice was familiar but not a voice they heard very often. "Help! Help!" The lady wore bright blue gloves and.........an apron? Why would she be wearing an apro-ohhh of course! It's the school janitor! But what does she need help with? Cleaning the toilets?

"Uncle Scrooge what's going on?" Louie asked with an urgency in his voice. "I don't know lad, but someone's calling for help, so that's what we're gonna do." Scrooge adjusted his top hat before running towards the janitor, the triplets following behind.

As they got closer they realised the women was holding someone. But not just any someone...........................WEBBY!!

Seeing that the girl that the janitor had in her grasp was Webby, the ducks worry only grew as they ran faster than a rocket.

"W-W-Webby?" Louie managed to stutter out against his shaky breathe. "What happened?!" Huey yelled, throwing his arms in the air. "I-I don't know! I was just heading to clean the toilets when I saw this little girl passed out on the floor with blood on her beak." The janitor spoke with a shakily voice as she handed Webby to Scrooge.

Scrooge couldn't believe it. He had failed..................again. He had made a promise, a vow, an oath to protect this young girl who had such a big influence on him. He promised he would never let anything bad happen to her again. He made a vow. An oath, and yet he still broke it.

He managed to let a tear slip as he heard a panicky voice beside him. "Uncle Scrooge is she okay?!" Dewey yelled as his whole body shook and he took Webby's hand gently.

Scrooge didn't know how to answer. How could he answer? He lost Della all those years ago and now this. How would they handle it? They would never forgive him again if Webby...............

"Well her breathing is normal. That's the most important thing." Huey stated as Scrooge, Dewey and Louie gave a sigh of relief. Thank goodness she was ok. They wouldn't know what they would do without her. Probably sit around and be miserable all day.
