"Are you sure it suites me?" I Asked Lucy turning this way and that to look at myself in the mirrors reflection.

"Most definitely." She said with a grin. The dress was dark green in color, very useful for hiding In the forest. It was long sleeved, a corset with green looping embroidery on the front of the bodice. My chest felt slightly cramped in it as it was small so I readjusted and then I wished I had left them alone because now they were even more revealed and pushed up than before and they wouldn't go back down. Lucy giggled as I gave up trying to hide them in vain.

"Come on the others should be done with their archery tournament and should have dinner ready." She told me.

"Alright just give me a moment to fix my hair." I told her. Lucy nodded.

"I'll wait for you upstairs then." And with that she was gone. I took a deep breath before turning towards the treasury room once more. I ran my fingers through my hair. It was still damp but Atleast it wasn't too badly knotted. After finding a golden comb I managed to fix my hair.

"That's much better wouldn't want to look so indignified in front of their majesties." I mused then shook myself. "What am I thinking were at war! Besides we need to get back to Caspian quick as we can there's no time to think like some little school child in the villages!"

I straightened and despite my own words I smiled at my reflection and spun in front of the mirror. For the first time in two weeks I felt cheerful. With that attitude I turned away from the mirror determined.

Edmund stared from the corner of his at the beautiful sight beside him. Alina was walking beside him a green cloak around her shoulders to keep her warm. Her hair was beautiful cascading down her back to her waist and those eyes of hers that scouted the area around them. She certainly wasn't like other girls his age. She was so comfortable talking and walking with him as they gathered fire wood, most girls would have made him feel awkward or complained about the work or even been terrified in the forest thinking constantly of bugs or snakes but she was fine, cheerful even.

Edmund was quickly and abruptly drawn from his thoughts as he walked into a low tree branch dropping his firewood and knocking himself to the ground.

"Your majesty!"

Boy did he feel like an idiot now.

"Are you alright?" Alina was trying her best to hold back her laughter but the smile on her face and the occasional giggle gave her away. Edmund blushed as she crouched down beside him.

"Yeah I'm fine-ow!" Alina's expression became concerned as she set aside her firewood to kneel beside him. Her hands reached out and much to his embarrassment held his face with gentle care, as she gazed deep into his eyes.

"You don't seem to have a concussion judging from your eyes but you do have a nasty lump-oh it's bleeding." A small scowl flitted across her face but before he could protest she had dishes out a handkerchief and was gently pressing it to the spot.

"You-you don't have to do that! It'll stop soon and your handkerchief will get blood on it." She smiled at him and shook her head.

"It's fine but you should probably be more careful." Her scolding left him even more embarrassed.

"Yeah let's head back then Lucy can-" he tried to get up but her hand reached out and pulled him back down.

"You should wait until it stops bleeding just in case I mean-" she blushed realizing finally just how close she had gotten. He had himself braced, leaning back on his arms, as she kneeled between his legs leaning in close to hold the handkerchief to his head.
