Chapter 17: The Final Score

(Your POV)

The sun shinned brightly down on my figure, my feet softly hit the ground as I walked up the mountain. Yawning I rubbed the tiredness out of my (E/C).

"You okay?" Karma asked in a concern voice as he walked beside me. I nodded my head reassuring the male that I was okay.

"I'm fine, just a tired."

"Are you such, we can all always head bac-" I quickly cut him off before he could finish.

"No, it's fine!" I waved my hands in the air in dismiss. "We have to study for the finals anyways. So come on, let's go!" Grabbing his hand, I began dragging him up the steep mountain.

"Man, and I thought we could skip today." He slightly whined, a smirk on his face. "Besides, I don't need to study. We all know that I'm going to ace all the test, especially on math."

I giggled at his statement. "Now, now, don't ahead of yourself."

"But it's true."

"Sure~" I gave him a teasing smirk. "Just letting you know; you can always run into my arms when you don't make it to the number one spot or would you like a kiss instead~"

An irk mark appeared on his head as his right eye twitched in annoyance.

"(Y/N)." He growled

"Running away!" I shouted running up the mountain and away from the angry red head.

"Come back here!" Karma yelled as he chased after me. I laughed as I picked up speed.

"Never!"

I'm glad that Karma arrived when he did yesterday, I wouldn't won't to image what would've happened if he didn't. When he dropped me off at my apartment I asked him if he could stay over the night, and to my surprise he said yes. He helped me forget the event that happened with me and Asano. Karma was acting all nice and kind which I wasn't expecting but that wasn't the only thing I wasn't expecting the night.

Flashback

I laid there, lifelessly on my soft comfy bed as my (E/C) scanned around my (F/C) room. I turned to my left and looked at the alarm clock.

I let out a sigh as I slowly sat up. My eyes were droopy and my body was begging for rest but no matter what I did I couldn't fall asleep, so I decide to just lay there until the lack of sleep got to me but the was no use.

Unknown Number

'That odd, who would be calling me at this time?' I questioned myself.

I hesitated at first but then soon found the courage and answered the phone.

Principle: Hello Ms. (L/N), I do hope that I didn't interrupt your sleep.

(Y/N): No, no. Your fine, I couldn't sleep anyways.

Principle: Hmm, how unfortunate. Anyways, I would like to use my favor.

(Y/N): What is it that you want me to do?
