Later that day, the villains were standing together at Mal's locker when Ben and Audrey started to walk towards them.

"Okay, remember, you have to be the first thing he sees after he eats the cookie if we want this to work," Evie said to Mal as Mal pulled the spelled cookie in a bag out of her purse.

"Good luck, dearie." Ruby said as she walked around the corner to watch the exchange as Audrey kissed Ben goodbye and walked away. They watched intently as Mal convinced Ben to take a bite. As Ben swallowed the bite, his expression changed as he stared at Mal. The villains walked closer to Ben, who seemed dazed.

"How's it going, buddy," Jay said to Ben.

"I'm fine, it's just, Mal, have you ever noticed the little golden flecks in your eyes?" Ben said. Mal took the rest of the cookie away from him.

"Okay, well, it's time for you to get ready for your game today," Mal said. "So go on. I'll see you there." Ben walked away, turning around every now and then to stare at Mal. Mal turned to look at her friends and high-fived Evie and Ruby.

"Alright! We're one step closer to that wand," she said.

Ruby arrived at the band room in her uniform to get ready for the game. As she set down her trombone, Doug and Marlin ran up to her.

"Ruby, we need your help," Doug said frantically.

"Sure, what's up?" Ruby asked as she looked at Marlin.

"Our guitarist for the band just quit," Marlin said. "Can you fill in for her?"

"Me?" Ruby asked. "But, I don't know any of the music we're playing on the guitar. I only learned the music for the trombone."

"I'll give you a crash course in the music," Marlin replied. "Please say yes, you're our best option for this. And I'll be playing bass right next to you." Ruby looked at them nervously.

"Well, I guess I can play guitar," Ruby said.

"Awesome!" Doug said happily. "I'll get you music." Doug ran off.

"You're amazing," Marlin said. "Go get your guitar and meet me in the practice rooms." Ruby ran off to get her guitar.

Later that afternoon, the villains attended their first Tourney game. Mal and Evie were watching from the stands beside the other students, while Ruby was playing with the band, and Jay and Carlos sat on a bench on the field in their uniforms.

"You're doing great, Ruby," Marlin said after they finished another song. "Are you enjoying yourself?"

"Yeah, this sport is delightfully entertaining," Ruby said. "I especially like the aspect of the kill zone." Marlin laughed.

"I'm glad you're having a good time," Marlin replied. Jay and Carlos got up and ran into the field for the next play. "Our team is doing well today. All they need is one more goal to win the game. And it looks like your friends are finally getting a chance to play." Ruby turned and saw Carlos and Jay take their positions for the next play.

As the next play started, Jay got the ball and ran through the kill zone. He quickly approached the goal to take his shot, but was blocked by the goalie. Jay and Carlos both ran back into the kill zone to get the ball. Since Jay had no shield, he grabbed Carlos, who played using a shield, and used him and his shield to block the projectiles flying towards them. Once they were on the edge of the kill zone, they saw Ben was open near the goal. Jay shot the ball to Ben and Ben quickly shot the ball into the goal, winning the game.

The stands went wild. Mal and Evie cheered for Jay and Carlos along with the rest of the students. Ruby played a victory song with the band as students excitedly cheered for the team. The players made their way towards an announcer in the middle of the field.

"Here they come folks," the announcer said. "The winners of the-" He was interrupted as Ben took the microphone away.

"Excuse me!" he yelled into the mic. "Can I have your attention, please?" Everyone in the stands got quiet

"What is he doing?" Ruby asked Marlin.

"I don't know," Marlin replied. "He never says anything after they win." Ben jumped on top of a nearby platform

"There's something I'd like to say." He paused for a moment and looked at the people around him."Give me a M!" he yelled. "Give me an A! Give me a L!" Ruby realized what he was spelling. Her mouth fell open in shock.

"What's that spell?" Ben asked the crowd.

"Mal!" everyone responded.

"What's that spell?" he asked again.

"Mal!" the crowd responded even louder.

"I love you Mal. Did I mention that?" Ben said.

"Ooohh wow," Ruby said to herself.

"What's he doing?" Marlin asked confused. "He has a girlfriend."

"Apparently he's had a change of mind," Ruby replied with a sly smile.

"Give me a beat!" Ben said as he pointed to the band. Doug counted off the band and they started playing. Ruby looked around confused.

"What am I supposed to play?" Ruby asked confused.

"Just improvise," Marlin said as he started to strum along to what the band played. Ruby followed his lead and started to strum along to the song the Ben was singing. Ben danced around on he field along with his team as he sang about how his love for Mal is ridiculous. Ruby watched as Ben jumped up into the bleachers and made his way to where Mal and Evie were sitting. When Ben finally reached her, Doug signaled the band to stop playing and they ended on a hard note. Audrey jumped up in the stands and took the microphone away from Ben.

"Chad's my boyfriend now, and we're going to the coronation together," she said. Ben took the microphone back from her.

"Mal, will you go to the coronation with me?" Ben asked.

"Yes!" Mal replied back into the microphone. The crowd cheered at her response. Ben ran back down and joined the team on the field.

"Well, it appears the team has decided today's MVP is Jay!" the announcer said. The crowd cheered as they gave Jay his trophy. The crowd started to move onto the field to celebrate.

"You should go celebrate with him," Marlin said. "I'll pick you up tomorrow afternoon for our trip to Atlantis."

"I'll see you then," Ruby replied. She set her guitar down and started to make her way towards Jay.
