(Rylands Pov)
The halls are a little more quiet then usual.. Jaxon is alone. Shane is with Ben. They both signal me to come to them, I was a little hesitant at first but I came over anyways. They actually were really nice which is good. They asked me if I wanted to be their friend. I said yes. They also asked me to come over after school, I said yes to that too. I hope they won't betray me. I don't think Derrick likes Shane though, I don't know about Ben. They really have changed and that's a good thing because I really was getting sad after being called a 'faggot' basically everyday. It was hurting me inside. I fall apart easily and it's annoying but it's just me. It really hurts when Derrick acts like he wants nothing to do with me and sounds annoyed when I try to talk to him. Is this love? If so, I might not be ready but I'm staying in it. It will make me stronger. I hope.
After school I went to Shane's house. I knocked on the door. I spent all my classes with them and most of my day. Shane answered. He saw me and his face turned a slight shade of red. "He's so cute.." I thought "stop. You have a boyfriend." I thought again.
"H-Hey Ryland." Shane stuttered. "Hey Shane! Hey Ben!" I said walking in, "Hey Ryland!" I heard Ben say. We sat on Shane's couch just talking for about twenty minutes until I got a call, It was Derrick. "Hey sorry I gotta go take this." I said getting up and waking to a random room. "Hello?" I said "Where the fuck are you?!" He yelled really loud and I knew that Ben and Shane could probably hear him even though it wasn't on speaker. "I'm at Shane's house with him and Ben, what's wrong?" I said, "Get your ass home now!" He yelled again and hung up. I walked out of the room, "Hey guys, I gotta go. Derrick wants me to come home. I can come over tomorrow if you want." I said, "Sure, come if you want!" Shane said with a smile. "Bye!" I said leaving, "Bye." I heated them say.
