Sometimes when you wear the mask
For too long
It sticks to your face
From all the sweat
Pouring like the crystal watersFrom the emotional pressure
It transforms to glueBut there's no struggle
No fight
Willing to accept that this life,
The one you made the mistake of living
Is now your lifeYou put that mask on you?
And why oh why
Did you never think to take it off?I know you can
You always can
Don't make excuses for a second
To say you can'tBut because you don't
It makes me wonder
Where's the humanityWhat are you
If you don't think
About your actions
About forgivenessAbout the fact that
Everything you do, isn't you
So who are you really?Other than a facade
Of evil emotions, regrets, manipulation
Let me see who you really areYeah, nope, not happening
I know
We've establishedBut I wanna know why
But it isn't about me
It's not about my journey
Trying to find the explanation for me
This isn't interrogationIt's a warning.
Beware.
Live life like this,
You'll ruin so many lives
And you've already ruined mine.
