As we were on the road, I felt James eyes on me. I looked up and raised my eyebrow.
"Like what you see?" I asked with a smirked.
He grinned "Janet your confidence is up and it shows, cause no I don't like what I see"
I swallowed the lump in my throat
The old Janet would've cried but she's not here anymore
I stared outside of my window and sighed.
"OMG OMG OMG" squealed Mary
I jumped to her, concerned, while starting to panic "wha-what happened?" I asked
"This is MY songggg"
She turned up the radio and Money by Cardi b started playing out loud.
"Walking past the mirror oh, damn I'm fine, let a bish try me BOOM hammer time" Mary sang along with the song.
We started to drive up to a parking lot, I saw A LOT of kids there even some students from Lamington high, the school for well known and rich kids, well mostly their parents are rich and well known.
As I got out the car, James came next to me and held my hand.
I looked up at him confused then noticed all the boys eyes on me.
I looked back at James and shook his hands off.
I ran to catch up to Mary.
"Sooo that wasn't weird at all" she said amused
"Yeaa of course" I said with sarcasm
"Yeoooo Mary, who's this fine lady you have there"
I looked at where the insanely deep voice came from and was met with deep grey eyes, he was fucking beautiful
I let myself observe him, he had dark black hair in waves, and beautiful shaped lips they were just right, and accompanied with that he had a lip piercing, he was tall like tower tall, he had the body of a football player.
Once I made it back to his face he was already smirking and checking me out.
I got out my trance and looked away so he won't see me blush.
"Hey Trevor, this right here is my friend Janet" She said
"Well Janet it's my pleasure" he said while putting his hand out
"Pleasures all mine Trevor" as I took his hand I felt him shiver at my touch, I smirked
"If you keep saying my name like that, I'll have a heart attack before I even make you mine" he said in a serious tone
Goosebumps
That's all I felt throughout my body as those words came out his mouth.
"Trust me, if you knew the real me, you would've never spoken this words" I said
"We'll see about that " he said
I blushed once again.
"Yeo Trevor come check this out" someone yelled from the bench
"I'll see you soon" Trevor waved as he ran back to his friends
"Woah" Mary said
I looked at her and couldn't help smiling
"Trevor is like never interested in anybody, there's like a whole bunch of girls that have tried to sleep with him, including me and we just gave up cause he just wasn't interested, and all you do is come here l, and he's on your tail" she says
"Really? Me? You think he's interested in me?" I said with a huff
"Yes dummy, are you really that naive"
James came up to us looking incredibly annoyed
"Yea he's also annoying too" he says
"You guys don't even talk to each other" Mary said confused
"So?" He said
Mary sighed and grabbed hand
"Come on, let's go meet my friends" she said while pulling me to the table Trevor went to.
As we got closer I can feel Trevor's eyes on me, but he didn't say anything.
"Heyy girl" a girl who looked blasian came up to Mary and hugged her.
"Wassup Nessa" Mary said "this is Janet" she said introducing me
Nessa turned to me and pulled me into a hug, I hugged her back.
"I'm Nessa, and this is my brother Noel" she pointed to basically a male version of her, he nodded my way.
I smiled back.
"This is Venus, kenan, Lenzo, and Julie" they all waved at me, and I smiled awkwardly back.
Trevor's POV
"Yeo Trevor who's that with Mary?" Kenan said nodding to their direction.
I looked at who he was talking about and froze.
She was still breathtakingly beautiful.
" Yeo hold up" I said to Kenan.
I made my way up to Mary
"Yeoooo Mary, who's this fine lady you got there" I said
They both turned around and I couldn't help but notice Janet checking me out, once she made it back up to my face she looked away but I still saw her blush.
"Hey Trevor, this is my friend Janet"
Oh I know who this is I thought to myself.
It's my pleasure I said, and she said the same back, she pronounced my name so differently from every other girl I've met, and it sent shivers down my spine. She smirked at me when she noticed.
I told her I would make her mine, and she said I wouldn't if I knew the real her, but the truth is would she let me if she knew me. Or even remembered me?
