Chapter 5

A/N: so i could of have SWORN i posted this chapter like three days ago but apparently i didn't soooo here it is now <33 :)

*PETER'S POV*

I stayed in my room until dinner.

It's not like it mattered anyways. They weren't going to pay attention to me anyways...maybe Ned might be right...maybe I am becoming a wee bit jealous...maybe.

I hear two knocks on my door and look up from my phone.

"Come in." I say a little bit louder than my actual voice. 

The door opens a little bit and I see Pops' head poke through.

"Dinner's ready." He smiles.

"Okay, be there in a minute." I get myself out of bed and walk to the dinning room.

I take my usual seat in between Pops and Dad. Harley was sitting across from me still talking to Dad.

I swear. Do they ever stop talking?

"So Harley...you're from, Tennessee?" Pops said trying to direct the conversation so everyone else can talk too.

"Yes I am. It's a small town near Chattanooga." He says then takes a bite of steak. "This is really good Mr. Rogers."

"Thank you, but please, call me Steve."

Harley nods. "Will do."

"Chattanooga? That's an odd name." I laugh a little bit. Was I really the only one who thought that? I couldn't of have been.

"I mean, yeah, it is pretty weird." Harley laughs awkwardly. "Cool place though."

Awkward silence falls. Dad breaks it with a question to none only, Harley.

"So, how long are you staying here for?"

"Well, I planned on going back down maybe towards the end of July, beginning of August."

"Well that gives you plenty of time for the internship then doesn't it! And I know you and Peter will become great friends in that time being. Right Peter?"

I look up from my plate, "Oh yeah, definitely!" I reply, not really knowing what I'm replying to.

Harley smiles. "That's fine with me."

*HARLEY'S POV*

Who would have thought that I, Harley Keener, would be at dinner with Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man?

I thought eating with Iron Man and Captain America was cool to begin with, and then put Spider-Man on top of it...*mind blown*

I help Steve with cleaning up after dinner.

"Why thank you Harley. You didn't have to." He says.

"You're welcome, and it's the least I can do."

I rinse the dishes off and I grab my coat.

"I should probably get going. It's getting late."

"Okay, just know you're welcome anytime you like!" Tony says smiling and waving.

"Okay! Thank you Tony!" I begin to walk out the door.

"One last thing." I hear Tony say.

I turn around, "Yeah?"

"Your internship starts tomorrow." He smiles. "Be here by 12:00 p.m."

"Darn, I thought you were going to say a.m." I say sarcastically smiling.

"I can make it that Keener." Tony tilts his head as if he was debating it.

"You know, 12:00 P.M. is great."

"That's what I thought."

"Bye everyone!" I close the door behind me. I make sure I'm fully in the elevator before I do my little "happy dance".

I get to the front and realize that I didn't have my phone.

"Shit..."

I can't go up there right now. I don't want them to think I'm clingy or something...I'll just get it at the internship tomorrow. It won't kill me to not have my phone for one night.

I begin to walk when I hear a voice.

"Hey! Hold up a minute!"

I turn around and see Peter, clearly out of breath.

"Yes?"

"You...forgot.....your....phone." He hands me my phone that was in his hands.

"Thanks."

"No problem. It was laying on the counter and Dad, well Tony, told me to bring it down."

"Well thank you." I laugh.

He's so adorable.

"You're welcome. See you tomorrow."

"See ya." I send him a friendly smile

Okay either 1. He's really good at being fake to people he doesn't like or 2. I'm actually beginning to grow on him.

Hopefully it's two cause I really like him. He seems....amazing.

(A/N get it...cause the AMAZING Spider-Man...okay yeah, I'll stop now.)

Heyyyo it's ya girl Desi. So sorry for not posting yesterday, my Wattpad was acting cRaZy

Honestly not so proud of this chapter, feel like it's kinda slow, but oH wEll. I didn't know what all to do.

So....is Peter just fake? Or is he really beginning to like Harley?
