Chapter 7

*HARLEY'S POV*

I can't believe I'm in Spider-Man's room. Okay Harley, just be calm...it's just a norm-

"Oh. My. Thor! It's your web shooters!!"

Way to go Harley. Start fanboying over some web shooters...but they are freakin amazing.

"Yup. Made them myself."

"I've always wondered...how do you get the webs to shoot out? Are they in a capsule-type thing and when you press this..."

*THWIP*

REALLY HARLEY YOU JUST HAD TO PRESS THE BUTTON

"OH MY GOSH I'M SO-"

"It's fine, I have some web removal stuff over here."

I let go of a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Oh, okay...great."

My mind starts to wonder off as the awkward silence starts to set in.

"So Harley..."

I jump out of my thoughts.

"Yeah? What's up?"

"So...how exactly did you meet my dad?"

I look over at Peter working on his web shooters.

uGh he's so cu- smart.

"Well...I went to my shed and saw some strange man in there and I freaked out and grabbed my potato gun..." I laugh remembering that day.

"A potato gun?"

"I was 12 okay? Anyways turned out that man was none only, the Tony Stark."

"Oh...that's pretty cool."

"Mhm...so, when did you get your powers?"

"I was 14 at an internship thingy and got bitten by a radioactive spider."

"Oh wow...did it hurt?"

"I mean it felt like a bee sting. Didn't think much about it until the next morning when i woke up with 20/20 vision and abs."

"Wow, that must have been nice.." I laugh

he. has. abs. well duh, he's spider-man of course he would have abs Harley.

"I mean, weird, but yeah I guess so." he chuckles.

HOLY SHIZ HIS LAUGH....

"Are you okay?" Peter asks while looking at me.

"Oh, yeah, I mean, why wouldn't I be?"

"Well you look pale and you're turning really red...."

shit....

"Oh, you know probably late nerves getting to me or something..."

"Okay..."

"Anyways...I think I'm going to head back up to the workshop and go-um work?"

"Well that's what workshops are for."

"True."

I walk out of his room and closed the door. I bury my face into my hands and mentally scream.

"Are you okay kid?"

I immediately straighten up.

"Uh, yeah I'm okay. Thanks for asking Steve."

"You look sick? Do you want anything? I can tell Tony you're sick and you can leave early if you want?"

"No, no, I'm fine really. I'm just going to go up to the workshop and help around with some things."

"Whatever you say." Steve shrugs and walks away. I make my way to the workshop. once I enter I decide to work on some motor he had sitting out for a robot Tony was working on.

what's wrong with you Harley?
why can't you get Peter out of your head?
he doesn't even like you like that... I mean for Thor's sake, he has a girlfriend.
why do you always do these things to yourself?

*PETER'S POV*

I wonder if Harley is okay? He looked sick.

Wait why am I worried about Harley, of all people?

I mean...maybe...mAybe, he might be growing on me.

Hut he still gets ~royal~ treatment.

Dad and Pops treat him like he's the freaking king of Asgard.

I should probably ask Dad how the hell he ended up in Rose Hill, Tennessee all that time ago. You know what, maybe another time. I'm tired...even though it's only 7:30 p.m.

Or maybe I should call Ned or MJ....maybe not MJ, things are a little rough at the moment.

Maybe Ned might want to come over. It feels like he hasn't come over in ages.

"Hey Karen."

—yes Peter—

"Call Ned and ask him if he wants to come over."

—on it Peter—

maybe I should make Ned an AI...that would be cool. he could give his a basic name like-

—he said he'll be over in 10—

I do a thumbs up.

after two days of being on writer block, and still on it if you couldn't tell, i finally coughed up a chapter.

also the next chapter may not be for a couple of days since Reese is on vacation and i'm at a soccer tournament until Monday sooo yahhhh
