Chapter 14
"Truth or Dare?" Caitlyn asked smiling wide
Justin gulped. This wasn't good. He saw what had happened with Christian so he would choose truth but wait. What if they ask something too personal like if he liked Anna or worse . If he choosed truth they'd call him chicken. There really was no getting out of this.
"Dare" Justin said uneasily. He closed his eyes and reached for the fishbowl.
Dana reached for the fishbowl to give to Justin but Caitlyn and Alexis stopped her and replaced the papers with another one they got out of Caitlyn's purse.
So basically, the dare Justin got was rigged because it involved him and Anna together.
Justin got the paper and read:
"Double Dare. You and Anna have to stay for a night ALONE in Sir Elmer's Mansion"
Anna was wide eyed while Alexis,Russel, Nick and Dana gasped.
'"What? What's wrong? Why are you all shocked?" Justin,Christian and Caitlyn asked
"Sir Elmer's a creep, he lived alone in that scary mansion up the hill a few blocks from here. He died of a heart attack this June and his daughter, Emma, planned to sell the mansion but every customer who stayed there even for a night would hear weird sounds from Sir Elmer's room. Basically, the house is HAUNTED" Dana said remembering the story she read in a scary stories book.
"Yea. And the scary part is that his daughter, Emma, died with his wife, Evelyn, in the backyard after a wild dog with rabis came and ripped them apart. Basically, the Emma who was to sell the house was a ghost." Russel said pointing to the window where a hill was there and a giant mansion stood.
"If you don't do it youre chickens" Caitlyn said to Justin and Anna
"You gotta do it on halloween" Christian said pointing to the small note on the side of the paper with the dare:
Must do on Halloween
"What?! Why me and Justin?! I wasn't landed by the bottle!" Anna said
"SO? A dare's a dare" Alexis and Caitlyn said while the rest nodded their heads.
Anna and Justin looked at each other. Hopefully, a night with the other in a haunted house wouldn't be so bad. . .right?
