The next morning I knew that Lily had to know what had taken place yesterday night. I was distraught, but persistent. I wasn't going to sit in bed and soak in my tears just because my best friend didn't feel the same way towards me. I called Lily and was patiently waiting for her on my couch, while drinking tea. She later arrived and we decided on watching a movie till I was ready to tell her what had happened.
"I'm ready Lily." I said shakily.
She nodded her head and I began to tell her the events that happened. After a emotional 20 minute recap, Lily stayed quiet thinking of an explanation.
"Lor, he's just confused." She stated confidently.
I wasn't listening to her reasonings. I knew that if I believed that, I would cry and wait for him until he wanted me back and I wasn't going to do that to myself.
"No Lily. He said it so he meant it, I'm just going to let him go. That's the best thing for me. We'll remain best friends and will remain happy. I'll be fine." I stated also confidently.
"I don't wanna pressure you sooo how about we go out tonight, we don't go back to school till Tuesday due to Labor day, so let's have fun to get your mind off of things." She said happily.
"Okay, lets do it!" I said excited.
I was truly excited that we were going to this party. I'm so tired of being sad, I'm ready to let loose and get drunk. :)
We began to get ready, I started off with my shower, while Lily chose the outfits. I came out and began my make up and hair. Lily chose a see through shirt patterned with polka dots, black pants, and black heels for me. For herself she chose a black blazer, black pants, and black heels as well. As for our hair, mine was slighting curled, while Lily's was in a top knot. For make up I went with natural, Lily went with the same but with a bold lip.

"Damn Lorena, we look good. You ready to go?" She asked smirking.
I nodded while smiling and we were soon on our way.
