When the group and I finally got in the house, we all headed to the bathroom to shower. Separate of course. I used Gray's while E and Lily used Ethan's. Lily and I always had extra clothes here because we always stayed the night. Instead I took out pajamas from Grayson's drawers. I pulled out an oversized hoodie and chose some shorts I left here awhile ago. I soon hopped in the shower and began to wash my hair with the shampoo and conditioner I left here. I then scrubbed my body clean and hopped out of the shower. I applied deodorant, lotion and finished off with a spritz of perfume. I threw on the clothes and brushed out my freshly washed hair, leaving it out to air dry. I soon made my way downstairs seeing E and Lily sat on the couch freshly cleaned. I sat on my usual sofa and began watching the movie with the couple.

"Lor, we ordered some pizza. It should be here soon." Ethan stated, rubbing Lily's back.

I nodded and rested my head. I was so tired but hungry. Staying up was going to be the death of me. A couple minutes later the doorbell rang and I got up to go and pay for the pizza. I sat the pizza on the kitchen table and the three of us immediately dug in. We soon finished our pizza and decided it was time to head to bed. We said our goodnights and made our way upstairs. I went straight to the bathroom. Brushed my teeth, washed my face, and lastly applied some chap stick to my lips, ready for bed. I got in Gray's comfy bed and turned on the television watching Vampire Diaries. As I was falling asleep Gray walked into the room highly upset, slamming the door on his way in. I was surprised E and Lily stayed asleep.

"Gray, what's going on?" I asked worried and a little scared.

He sat on the bed and looked at me. He looked distraught.

"She cheated." He replied blankly.

"What? How do you know?" I asked.

"I walked in on her sleeping with this random guy that goes to our school. I went there to fucking apologize Lorena and she was with someone else in her bed. I even went out of my way to buy her flowers and that's what I end up seeing?!" He yelled clearly upset.

"Gray I-I don't know w-what to say." I stuttered scared of his tone.

"Don't say anything." He replied. I then noticed him leaning in aggressively. Before I knew it his lips we're on mine.

I didn't know what to do. I kissed back and then pushed him away quickly.

"Gray no, you know this is wrong."

"Why is it wrong." He said confused.

"In your state of mind, this isn't okay. You don't know what you want or how tomorrow will turn out to be. Kissing me isn't going to make anything better." I replied shaking my head.

"I wanted to kiss you though." he replied caressing my cheek.

"I'm trying to get rid of my feelings for you, don't you get it?" I stated narrowing my eyes at him.

"You only kissed me because your upset and you think by having intercourse with someone else, that it'll help you figure out everything. It won't help Gray. I'm not going to get used by you because you got cheated on. I'm your best friend. It has to stay like that." I said without letting him speak.

"Lorena.. i'm not using you." He responded softly.

"Then why'd you kiss me? You don't have feelings for me and you made that pretty clear this past month." I replied with an attitude.

I wasn't mad at him. I was disappointed in him. I do feel bad that he got cheated on and don't get me wrong, I really wanna hurt Samantha for what she did to him, but him kissing me without having a reason kinda hurts.

He didn't reply. My hypothesis was correct. He kissed me for no reason and he knows that. I don't know if he wants revenge or if he did that out of vulnerability but I can't accept it, even though I want too.

"I'm going to bed Gray. I'll sleep downstairs."

"No. Can you stay please?" He asked with soft eyes.

I sighed and nodded hopping back in bed getting comfortable. He headed into the bathroom and came back about 20 minutes later due to his shower and his daily night routine.

He climbed in bed and wrapped his arm around my waist, snuggling his head into my neck. I didn't hug him back. I was still upset, no matter how hard it was for me to stop myself from comforting him.

"Why aren't you cuddling me back." He asked confused.

I didn't reply.

"Lorena please, i'm sorry okay? I get that you have feelings for me and I-," I cut him off.

"And I get that the feeling isn't mutual. I'm fine okay? I just wanna sleep"

Grayson sighed and nodded.

"I'm sorry about what happened. She was a bitch anyway. Goodnight Gray, I love you." I stated falling asleep.

Gray giggled. "Goodnight Lor, I love you too."

Grayson's POV

Little did she know the feelings I had for her were getting stronger and stronger everyday. As much as it hurt seeing Samantha in bed with another guy, I can't help but say that i'm kinda relieved that she's gone. I've made up my mind, I just needed a little more time to make
my final decision. Kissing Lorena made me realize she'll always be the one i'll go to. She's always been here.
