Dael drove.
"Your parents are dead".
"Yes" Ann said, crying.
She held Mr. Bunny.
"Sorry. I'm seeing my girlfriend. Once I see her we're gonna get outta here. Head to Austin, Texas" Dael said.
"Will we be safe?" Ann asked.
"I hope so, sweetie" Dael said.
They saw the Zombies coming towards them.
But they were faster.
There were no Police around.
They had all died.
And became new Risers.
Dael saw some Police-Risers eating a boy's face.
And he looked away in disgust, as they ate his brains.
Then he saw Francine.
"GET IN!" Dael ordered, "Atlanta is full of Risers, like in New York and LA. This is Ann-and Mr. Bunny. We're going to Austin, Texas, as I said to Ann. It's going to be a long road trip-but we're gonna survive" Dael said.
Francine got into the back seat.
She closed the back door, put her seatbelt on, and Dael drove faster.
The Zombies couldn't catch them.
And they gave up.
There was always more victims in Atlanta to kill.
And, as the rain continued to fall, the full horror of the Mania of the Zombies, hadn't been completed yet.
It was only just beginning.
